Lawless is brand new to me and since I started testing the products, I started my research around the brand – what, how, and who. Lawless Beauty was founded by Annie Lawless who is a certified holistic health coach, yoga instructor, lifestyle blogger, and founder of one of the largest organic cold-pressed juice companies in the U.S. Her aim is to change the world of natural makeup and provide women with beautiful products like never before. An amazing fact about Annie, She made Forbes Magazine's '30 under 30′ list in 2016. I have been using few products from Lawless Beauty which I am going to share in this post – Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick and Lawless Lucid Skin Highlighter in the shade Afternoon Delight.
Lucid Skin Highlighter
Lawless Lucid Skin Highlighter in the shade Afternoon Delight is a peachy golden champagne highlighter. It is a velvety soft pressed powder with a glowing, radiant finish. It fuses with the skin to create a glossy, lit from within look. The formula is talc and aluminum-free. This peachy golden champagne highlighter gives an intense, universally flattering warm glow that suits all skin tones. It glides seamlessly over the skin without accentuating texture or being visibly glittery or chunky.
To use – Using a brush or damp sponge, apply to the high points of the face—cheekbones, brow bones, the tip of the nose, and Cupid’s bow. For the body, apply to the collarbones, tops of the shoulders, and down the center of shins to elongate and impart a radiant glow. Afternoon Delight looks wonderful over self-tanners and bronzers to accentuate a warm bronzy glow.
For an extra glow, using the ring finger, apply to the inner tear ducts of your eyes, the center of the forehead, and the center of the chin.
Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick
Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick is a high-pigment, ultra-nourishing formula with a smooth finish and lightweight comfort. It is easily buildable. It keeps the lips hydrated with natural emollient ingredients to provide a long-wearing, yet indulgently creamy experience. The formula did not cake or crack once applied. The matte formula is very comfortable to wear on the lips. The shades go on from smooth and opaque on the first swipe, easily buildable depending based on the liking.
- Leo is a light nude with peachy undertones
- Dane is a deep plum shade
To apply, ‘Apply a thin, even coat of liquid lipstick to your lips, allowing a minute or so to set. This hydrating formula dries down to a soft matte finish. If the deeper pigment is desired, feel free to apply another thin layer, allowing each layer to set between applications.'
Overall, I really like the formula and shades of the Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick. Both are very comfortable and have beautiful shades. Also, the Lawless Lucid Skin highlighter looks very natural and beautiful on my medium skin tone with golden undertones.
I am also enjoying the new Lawless Foundation that is super lightweight, looks very natural, and still provides medium-full coverage.
