Nars has launched The Uninhibited Collection – Shades of Desire Limited Edition collection. It is in time for the spring and summer. The collection includes a blush duo, an eyeshadow palette, and 3 shades of Nars Afterglow Lip Shine. In this article, I am going to focus on the lip launches I am currently loving from this collection.
Nars Afterglow Lip Shine is a new lip gloss from the brand. It is very lightweight and comfortable on the lips. The consistency of the gloss is very nice. It glides nicely on the lips and imparts a beautiful shine to them. The formula is very nourishing without being heavy or sticky on the lips. It appears more of a lightweight lip oil to me with the added advantage of shine that lasts. I am enjoying it on my dry lips.
Nars Afterglow Lip Shine is available in 3 shades that are perfect for everyday wear. Below are the descriptions:
- Daybreaker – shimmering rose
- Hot Spell – deep raspberry with gold shimmer
- Sunrush – shimmering peach with pink pearl
All three shades look beautiful. Hot Spell is the one I use for a hint of color on my lips with a very fine shine and shimmer. Daybreaker and Sunrush are very forgiving on my skin tone when used alone. I prefer using them over my lipstick or alone. Nars Afterglow Lip Shine acts both as a lip gloss and lip care product. You can check these limited edition glosses before they sell out.
This collection reminds me of the Afterglow Spring Collection from last year. The lightweight, delicate, and sheer formulas are all in. This gloss is my go-to along with the Nars Tinted Glow Booster or Nars Sheer Foundation for everyday wear.
