Nars Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balm is the newest launch from the brand. I love their Afterglow Lip Balm. This new soft matte tinted version of lip balm is very interesting. It is a lip balm but as opposed to other tinted lip balms with sheer pigment that have a glossy finish, this one has a soft matte finish.
Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balm is a limited-edition sheer matte lip balm. With one swipe, it gives a lovely diffused finish. It is like a soft stain that is very comfortable and moisturizing while still looking matte. More like being there and giving my lips but better effect. More than one swipe delivers a wash of color for a perfect amount of diffused matte lip color. The formula is very lightweight and applies easily.

The formula of Nars Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balm evens out the lips in a very natural way. It has a balm feel without feeling heavy and despite having a soft matte finish. The shade range is really impressive, there is a perfect nude for every skin tone. I find it moisturizing on my dry lips and as it is sheer, I can see and feel it too. I usually don't prefer matte formula for my lips but there are few exceptions, and this new launch falls under those few lip products. It layers nicely under and over other lip products.
I find it very wearable with a nice radiant base for everyday makeup. Or if you are more into shiny lips, Nars recently launched Afterglow Lip Shine. It is very lightweight, and moisturizing, and I like the glossy finish.
