Nars The Multiple: Review and Swatches

If there’s one beauty product I keep coming back to, it’s the revamped The Multi-Purpose Colour Stick from NARS. This multi-use stick—usable on cheeks, lips, and eyes—has been reinvented in 12 vibrant shades, but today I’m zooming in on five favourites: Behave, Dazed, Orgasm Crave, Sex Appeal, and Swing.

NARS The Multiple Review

Why It Works

The updated version of the sticks boasts a cream-to-powder texture that swipes on silky and sets with a soft-focus finish. It’s buildable—with a single stroke you can deliver high impact, and with blending you can tone it down for sheer radiance. According to NARS, the formula provides up to 16 hours of wear on cheeks and is designed to “blur and perfect” the finish. What I love about it is the simplicity: one stick, multiple uses, minimal brushes, maximum versatility.

Shade Highlights

  • Behave (Soft Pink): A gentle, “your-cheeks-but-better” pink that suits a variety of skin tones. It’s fresh, youthful and perfect for everyday wear.
  • Dazed (Peachy Beige): A subtle tone that works beautifully as a neutral flush or even as a lid colour. For makeup days when you want colour without strong pigment, this is a go-to.
  • Orgasm Crave (Peachy Pink with Gold Pearl): This shade nods to the iconic Orgasm blush in the NARS archive. The golden pearl gives just the right amount of glow without looking glittery.
  • Sex Appeal (Soft Peach): Warmth and adaptability combine here. If you struggle to find a peachy tone that doesn’t turn too orange or too muted, this one plays nicely.
  • Swing (Cool Light Pink): A slightly cooler tone compared to Behave, Swing gives a fresh tone that’s ideal for minimal looks or younger-skintone days.

How I Use It

In the morning, I’ll swipe Behave or Sex Appeal across the apples of my cheeks and blend with my fingers for a dewy, natural finish. On days when I’m prepping for a video call, I might pick Orgasm Crave—applied lightly to cheekbones and along lips—to catch light without being obvious. For sheer and minimal, Dazed works beautifully on its own; and when I want a soft pastel flush, Swing comes out of my bag. The trick is applying directly, then tapping to diffuse. The formula layers well—even over light powder—without pilling.

Final Verdict

If you’re after makeup that simplifies your routine while still delivering look-good results, The Multi-use stick is a winner. It bridges the gap between blush, lip colour and eye tint effortlessly. From the cheek-pop of Orgasm Crave to the everyday softness of Behave, you’ve got shades for nearly every mood.
