Sisley Phyto-Ombre Glow Review

Sisley Phyto-Ombre Glow Review

Eyeshadows are something that can change your whole look with some touching and tweaking. You can have a simple daytime look with the same set of eyeshadows and add on or tweak the existing ones in different ways like applying wet, using more quantity can change your whole eye look from daytime to smokey or intense look. For a person like me, who is an eye amateur, I am always on the hunt for some great formulas that are easy for me to work with and that does work for my daytime work and for any outing if there is. Browsing through some websites online, I got to know about these beautiful eye shadows which I am going to talk about further. I bought these Sisley Phyto-Ombre Glow Luminous Eye Shadow (CAD $70 for single eyeshadow excluding taxes) in shades, Pearl and Amber, a few months back.

As described on the Official Sisley website, Phyto-Ombre Glow is a next-generation mono eye shadow with an unprecedented texture, for an ultra-radiant result and unrivalled sensory effect. Designed to be used alone or combined with other eye shadows, it allows for creating tailor-made makeup results. Its ultra-soft formula enriched with plant-based extracts (Green Tea, White Lily, Camelia) is respectful to the delicate epidermis of eyelids. Lighter and comfortable to wear, this shadow adheres better to the eye and is lighter than a typical powder for easy and long-lasting makeup. Its high-tech texture delivers an ultra-pure colour, with no risk of overdoing it and without powdery effect. Tested under ophthalmologic and dermatological control. Appropriate for those with sensitive eyes and those who wear contact lenses. The results are flawless long-wearing makeup, without the risk of over-application. The sheer colour and light make your gaze sparkle.

The main active ingredients of these eye shadows are Camelia Oil which I do love for my skin and hair. It nourishes and softens the skin. White lily in the formula also nourishes the skin and Green tea hydrates the skin.

And the description is what made me buy these, I love the look of these and the results which are described as sheer colour and light which will make your eyes sparkle. The packaging of these eye shadows is really pretty in classic black Sisley single eye shadow packing. The palette of single eye shadow contains a small brush which is nice and does work nicely. I have used the eyeshadow both with my eye brush and with my fingers.

The texture is very silky, it so hard to describe but so luxurious to apply. This is something I have not experienced before, the formula is so soft, silky and buttery, cream to powder which is very easy to apply and blend. It is very sheer in a single application and can be build up easily. It does give a sparkle to the eyes, the natural one. I have used this eyeshadow on the lids, on my brow bone as a highlighter and on the inner corner of my eyes to add the hint of light.

I carefully chose these two shades Pearl and Amber so that they look good on my medium tan skin tone. They do suit me as an eyeshadow and as a highlighter too. The other main thing about these eye shadows is the staying power which is really good, over 10-12 hours, it may have lasted long but that is the time I have worn them generally and they looked fresh until the end of the day for me.

They didn't crease on my eyelids which is a plus point for me. The quality of the shine they give on the skin is really pretty, does not look any glittery or sparkly, just a nice perfect shine, maybe you can get an idea from the swatches. The pearlescent quality of Sisley Phyto-Ombre did light up my eyes and I got the perfect shine I always crave for. I am a total fan, one of my favourites.
