Surratt Beauty Artistique Blush Review

Surratt Beauty is a brand that has been on my wishlist for a long time now. It is a brand that has a unique perfection. Surratt Beauty is a visionary collection designed by top new york city make-up artist Troy Surratt. Fueled by his passion for beauty, Troy created a line of artistic products. His customizable approach allows exploring endless possibilities. Surratt Beauty Artistique Blush, like the other products in the line, is one of a kind.

Surratt Beauty Artistique Blush

I have been following Troy Surratt's work for some time now. The kind of perfection I look forward to in someone, I am his fan. Therefore, this post is about my first purchases from his brand that I have been loving. I purchased Surratt Beauty Artistique Blush in shades ‘coup de genie' and ‘Cherubique' from Sephora last month. Also, I was eyeing the shades ‘parfait', ‘Chaleur' and ‘La Vie En Rose' but they were out of stock since I had them in my cart.

First thing first, the packaging is very pretty. The pans fit in the palette that is available separately. At the moment, I have two blushes from this line. I am going to get the palette with the next blush I buy from them. Otherwise, the packaging, if you want to have it as a single shade, is not very sturdy. And that is the only thing I can say which might not be suitable for some of you. Now let me start with the product inside those pans.

The texture of the blush is very fine. The pigmented formula blends very easily. The creation of blushes utilizes the exclusive Japanese Slurry leaves method. The technique makes the product very soft with a satin finish on the skin. It also focuses on the Japanese tradition of minimal elegance. The product in the pan might look dark or light. But once applied it gives the most beautiful natural glow and colour.

The unique texture and finish of the formula are impressive. A small amount is all I need and the results are amazing. Coup de Génie is a champagne highlighter and Chérubique is a gleaming rose shade.

My Thoughts

Both shades leave very natural lit from within glow. I top up Chérubique with Coup de Génie on the highpoints. And that is what I need for the prettiest glow and colour on the cheeks. Using them, my skin looks healthy. I actually went to my mom's wearing these and she complimented me on how beautiful my skin looks. So, I had to mention that these do give that natural healthy glow.

These shades might look a bit extra glowy for the office environment. However, they truly are my companions on the weekends and evenings. I am definitely going to check the shades I mentioned above for everyday use first and then indulge into more.

Overall, I would highly recommend these blushes to anyone looking for a natural glow and colour to the cheeks. They are the best of their kind and you will love the texture, finish and look once you try them on. I have a post with a review and swatches of Artistique eyeshadows from the brand here
