I am going to review few more products from the brand which I have been using for the last few days. ‘Minimal elegance' is the phrase I want to repeat here in this post, Surratt Beauty is all about it. Surratt Beauty Artistique Eyeshadow
A good eyeshadow will always have you covered when you need it, like when you are in hurry or you want that perfect eye makeup. It will be an easy step with great results. To achieve that results, all you need is a good formula. I am already a fan of Surratt Beauty product formula with just a few purchases from the brand. On the same lines of Japanese Slurry Leaves technique I mentioned in my previous post, the eyeshadows have a great formula.
Surratt Beauty Artistique Eyeshadow helps achieve a variety of eye effects, from a sheer wash of colour to rich, saturated eye looks. The texture of the eyeshadow is finely milled and not powdery. They are very easy to blend and the pigmentation is good. They can be used dry or wet. The staying power is decent, they do last a whole day in my eyes. They are buildable and do not feel dry. The packaging is very lightweight and in little plastic pans which can be fitted in the customizable palette. I have the swatches for shades mentioned below (from top to bottom):
Poudre is a matte soft peach
Grey Gardens is a cool grey with shimmer finish
Lastly, Artistique Eyeshadow in Enchantress is a metallic black with metallic finish
Surratt Beauty Lipslique Lipstick
Surratt Beauty Lipslique Lipstick is a twist-up lipstick alternative that’s lighter than lipstick and more sophisticated than a gloss. This lipstick contains spherical pigments that build opacity with every layer. The colour goes from sheer to creamy for endless, alluring lip looks. The black case of the lipstick has Surrat printed over it. It is very lightweight and a perfect travel companion.
The lipstick is sheer but buildable. The formula is moisturizing and does not dry out my lips or emphasize the lines. The shade Hevyn is a glistening rose and has a very natural glistening kind of finish. The formula is very lightweight and looks natural but polished lips. The staying power is decent and the shade range is nice too.
Surratt Beauty Lip Lustre
Surratt Beauty Lip Lustre is a moisturizing, sheer lip gloss that looks fresh for hours. The shimmer lip formula features a sheer, non-sticky gloss that builds intensity with each coat. Its silicone-flocked spatula tip ensures precise application. The formula is thick, a little sticky and the staying power is amazing. It is not overly sparkly and not flat, it makes the lips look better without looking extra. It looks nice alone or over the lipstick. I have swatched shade Teinte is a sheer white tint. It looks nice when I wear it alone, my lips look shiny but not sparkly. It stays on well for a decent time and is moisturizing at the same time. When topped over other lipstick, it gives the original shade a nice shine and enhances the shade.

Surratt Beauty Automatique Lip Crayon
Surratt Beauty Automatique Lip Crayon is a super-saturated lipstick crayon with a light, balmy feel, and matte finish. The slim, twist-up crayon needs no sharpener. It is formulated with polymers and copolymers, delivering high-intensity colour with a hydrating matte finish that holds fast for at least six hours. The formula glides on smoothly and very matte. The staying power is decent as mentioned above too. I am very careful with matte formulas as they do dry out my lips. I would suggest to exfoliate and moisturize the lips nicely before applying this lip crayon. Once applied, it stayed put for around four hours. The shade ‘In the Flesh‘ is described as fleshy nude and on me, it is the perfect nude. It is a nice addition to my nudes but I do prefer berry, red or pink shades in my lipsticks.
Overall, I am enjoying the products very much, especially the unique formula and beautiful shades of Artistique Eyeshadow.
