Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre is a crystal-infused eyeshadow. Lid Lustre is inspired by the healing and protective power of crystals. There are six shades, at the time this post is written, and each relates to a specific crystal. Each shade is infused with a different crystal for aura-amplifying energy. In addition, Victoria herself surrounds herself with crystals. All six shades are strikingly beautiful and unique.
Lid Lustre has a unique soft pressed powder technology that has 60% pearlescent pigments. The packaging is in heavyweight glass jars that have the brand logo and packaging that aligns with the other products from the brand. There is a disc inside the little jar to keep the pressed powder formula intact and inside. That is due to the delicate nature and avoiding spills. I have not experienced fallout and spills in two out of three shades I am currently enjoying and reviewing in this article.
There are three shades of Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre I have swatched for your reference:
- Mink – It is a taupe brown with mix of gold and silver pearl. It is infused with Tiger's eye which is known as the gemstone of courage, strength, and personal power.
- Midnight – It is a navy blue with silver pearl. It is infused with Amethyst which is known to amplify the flow of prosperity and abundance.
- Lastly, Blonde – It is a pale cream with yellow gold pearl. It is infused with citrine which is known to inspire creativity and self-expression.
Out of the three shades I have mentioned above, I find the Mink and Midnight to be most pigmented, smooth, and creamy. The Blonde shade felt a little dry with some fallout compared to the other two. Blonde is not as pigmented and intense. Also, it takes some effort to apply the way the other two shades work in a single swipe.
Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre is one of the unique formulas I have tried. It feels really smooth and creamy. The pigment is intense and applies beautifully to the lids. I like applying with my fingertip and then blend the edges with an eyeshadow brush. The finish is wet and pearly. Moreover, the high shine and the intense pigment with one single swipe are truly stunning. I am impressed. In terms of fallout, I have not experienced it once the eyeshadow is on the lids and set. While opening the eyeshadow jar and applying, there is a little fallout but that is normal for a formula this intense and full of beautiful shimmer.
I have not experienced any irritation or sensitivity around my sensitive eye area. Also, the longevity of the shades is really nice. It stays put together on my lids for over 7-8 hours before fading. Again, I am focusing on the mink and midnight shade here as blonde does not work well on me, both in terms of formula and shade. Overall, a really nice eyeshadow formula with a beautiful shimmer. Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre looks classic and not chunky or glittery at all.
I enjoy wearing Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre with the Satin Kajal Liner. It is super creamy and intense. Also, their longevity is impressive. The duo makes me look glamourous in just two steps.
