I have been a fan of Goldfaden MD products since I discovered this brand last year. I have been thoroughly enjoying one new and two cult favourite products from this brand since last month. The problem-solving range is packed with potent antioxidants to give the needed strength and protection to the skin. So, when it comes to this range, I do expect a lot from it and here I am sharing my reviews for ‘Skin Detox with Goldfaden MD' after using this trio for over a month. I got Detox Clarifying Facial Wash which is the newest addition to the great line. Also, the cult favourite Doctor's Scrub and Facial Detox Mask for testing and reviewing. The packaging of the products is in the standard Goldfaden MD style, with beautiful green, and golden writing on sturdy white plastic jars.
Goldfaden MD Detox Clarifying Facial Wash
Goldfaden MD Detox Clarifying Facial Wash is the newest product from this brand which is an AHA Nutrient-Rich Treatment. This foaming facial wash is aimed to address problem skin by reaching deep into pores and kicking out stubborn dirt and oils. The formulation comprises a combination of two Alpha Hydroxy Acids, namely, Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid. They work together to dissolve excess oil and dead skin cells. The Detox ComplexTM in this facial wash is comprised of potent fruit extracts and active plant cells to provide anti-pollution benefits and revitalize and detoxify the skin. All of the ingredients work together to give a fresher, cleaner, smoother and rejuvenated complexion.
I have been reaching out to this foaming facial wash as I do see a difference in how my skin feels when I am using this trio. Also, I do not remove makeup or sunscreen with this facial wash. I use it as my second cleanser to get the benefits of the nice formula. I take two pumps of this product and massage it with circular motions on my damp skin for a few seconds. And then wash it off with lukewarm water. It does not make my skin feel dry or irritated but I feel a nice clean fresh face. I see Glycerin is high on the ingredient list. Actually, it is the second ingredient, which means I get clean fresh hydrated skin. This is a keeper for me and is another hit for me from this brand.
Goldfaden MD Doctor's Scrub
Goldfaden MD Doctor's Scrub is a cult favourite product, loved and praised by many. It is a daily exfoliator that adds hydration and removes dead skin cells giving a brighter, radiant and healthier-looking skin. The key ingredients of this product include Ruby Crystals, Hyaluronic Acid, Seaweed Extract and Jojoba Oil. The perfectly round Ruby Crystals provide an effective exfoliating to give that brighter, clearer, younger-looking skin. The line-filling Hyaluronic Acid delivers long-lasting hydration. Seaweed extract helps improve the moisture level of the skin while providing a natural glow, tone, and texture to the skin. It also plumps and nourishes the skin while providing high levels of antioxidant benefits. Jojoba Oil is a moisturizing agent that helps prevent water loss and improves skin's flexibility and suppleness. It is suitable for all skin types.
First of all, the scrubs I have used all my life are advised to be used twice or thrice a week. So it seemed really exciting and interesting that I can use this daily. And when I started using this daily, I could see why it is advised that way. It is a very gentle formula. I take a small amount of this product. Then, I massage it gently on my damp skin for 25-30 seconds in circular motions. Next,I rinse it off with lukewarm water. After seeing the results from this, yes the glow is real after I use this. I did use this scrub on my neck, decollete and body which did impress me. My skin felt comfortable, hydrated and glowy with no irritation or sensitivity after using this daily.
Goldfaden MD Facial Detox Clarify + Clear Mask
Goldfaden MD Facial Detox Clarify + Clear Mask is a purifying mask that draws out dirt and pore-clogging debris from the skin. This is a gentle mask with ingredients that improve the appearance of skin and avoid breakouts apart from treating the existing problem areas. This is a skin corrective and purifying mask that has some nice ingredients like Zinc Oxide, Sulfur, and Camphor. Zinc Oxide soothes skin and reduces the appearance of marks by working to form a protective layer on the skin reducing the appearance of redness. Sulphur works as a natural protector. Also, it regulates extra-oily problem areas and prompts shedding and exfoliation of pore-clogging dead skin cells, dirt, and oil. Camphor works to wash the skin as a natural astringent sourced from the bark and wood of the camphor tree. It works to clean skin by helping draw out oils and impurities and tampers the appearance of redness and discomfort.
I have used this mask both as a full face treatment as well as a spot treatment with good results. I apply a thin layer to the entire cleansed face twice a week and 3-4 times as a spot treatment. Once it is dry or after 15 minutes, I wash this off with lukewarm water. Then I follow up with my treatment serum or moisturizer. I have noticed a difference in the frequency of any flare-ups of acne as well as the size of my pores and intensity of my acne spots and redness. I love a good mask. And this is a great addition to my treatment masks. I use it regularly twice a week or as a go-to mask when my skin behaves.
Overall, these are some great products that are suitable for all skin types.
