Around the same time last year, I shared about Sulwhasoo Bloomstay Collection here, which I enjoyed in my skincare routine. The new Bloomstay Vitalizing Eye Cream has launched just in time for spring when everything, including the skin, is emerging from the harsh winters and weather changes, bringing them the need for extra skin care. Sulwhasoo Bloomstay Vitalizing line is inspired by Sulwhasoo’s iconic flower – Plum Blossoms.
These resilient flowers bloom even during severely cold weather and snow. Plum Blossoms lift spirits by signifying the coming of spring and the end of winter. Hence they have become the symbol of overcoming adversities with integrity and faith. Plum Blossom contains a powerful antioxidant that encourages more vitalized and rejuvenated-looking skin.
Sulwhasoo Bloomstay Vitalizing Eye Cream
The newest addition to the Sulwhasoo Bloomstay Collection, Bloomstay Vitalizing Eye Cream, is an eye gel cream that delivers the anti-oxidant energy of plum blossoms care to the bags under the eyes, adds resilience to the eye area, and makes the eyes look revitalized. There is a massager that comes complimentary with this eye cream, called Jamak Massager, it helps the eye cream stimulate micro-circulation in the skin around the eyes and also delivers an immediate cooling effect.
The fatigue around the eyes is also minimized. The eye cream feels fresh and bouncy, absorbs quickly into the skin, and the eye area feels hydrated, soothed, radiant, lifted and firm. There is a subtle, pleasant scent that fades quickly. The eye cream melts into the skin quickly without leaving residue.
Regarding the packaging, if you see it, it is as beautiful and delicate as flowers. The jar, the same as the rest of the range, is heavyweight plastic which feels luxurious and pretty simultaneously.
Apart from the Bloomstay Vitalizing Eye Cream, I also love two face masks from the brand I have used together or alone, depending on how my skin feels. The Clarifying Mask and Overnight Vitalizing Mask have become my most reached masks these days. For my combination skin prone to acne, I was more excited to try the Clarifying Mask, but after trying both of them, I am so glad that I tried the Overnight Vitalizing Mask too.
Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask
The Clarifying Mask is a peel-off mask that thoroughly removes dead skin and impurities from the skin. Thus, resulting in clear and soft skin. I cleanse my skin and apply the mask to my dry skin. This mask fits tightly onto the skin. It removes impurities and dead skin and tightens the pores making the skin smooth and improving the texture.
It did not dry my skin, but I recommend applying something hydrating after the mask. For me, it is either a Hyaluronic Acid Serum, or the best one I always use is the Overnight Vitalizing Mask.
Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask
Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask is a traditional Korean herbal sleeping mask that nourishes and helps skin restore its natural radiance. The ingredients strengthen the skin's protective barrier, moisturizes and soothe the skin while providing nourishment. At first, I thought it would be heavy for my skin type, but as I have used it many times, it is perfect.
It makes my skin look soft, supple, and radiant the next day, with no breakouts or irritation. This is also perfect for lazy evenings when I can just cleanse, follow this mask, and still wake up with good skin. The formula is light and creamy, absorbs into the skin nicely, and does not feel heavy at all.
Overall, I am impressed with the new eye cream and the masks; they have become a staple in my skincare routine for spring and summer.
