My Experience

It's that time of year again when I look for my seasonal lip balm. I prefer to stick with skincare brands in the colder seasons as this is where I have seen the most results. Sisley's nourishing lip balm is comfortable and does not stick. A small amount goes a long way, which is why I have made a tiny dent in the pot in a month. Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto has been one of my top five lip balms aka maximizer aka pink enhancer since last few years. I did review it last year here. Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto is an ultra-moisturizing balm, a plumping, and color-boosting concentrate with a pink finish, the all-in-one Rouge Perfecto is available in three new customized shades this year in 2018.

No 1 Perfect Pink – Original

No 2 Intense Pink – a pink for an ultra-intense result (new)

No 3 Sparkling Pink – a peach pink encrusted with silver pearlescent particles for a ‘party glow' look (new)

The 3-in-1 Rouge Perfecto formula combines moisture, lip care, and natural color in one. It is an innovative complex that instantly plumps up lips while its melting texture with shea extract offers hydration and comfort. It works perfectly to repair and soften even the driest lips, like mine. The eosin contained in the formula reacts to the lips' pH for a natural and customized effect.

The packaging is perfection, sheathed in the same pink leather as the original Le Rouge Perfecto, along with metallic tube encapsulating the product. The new Rouge Perfecto shades are a great addition to create a fresh and natural look. It is easy to apply, keeps my lips moisturized, comfortable throughout the day, I do reapply after few hours though but overall, it really treats my dry and peeling lips making them look plump and pink. Another great thing is, it will look different on different people, means it reacts with the lips pH and imparts the color to lips based on the person's respective pH value of lips. The sparkle in the new shades is not intense but very beautiful, you will be able to notice it and it looks so natural and beautiful, can be used as an everyday lip balm and lip tint with add-ons of plump and moisturized lips which look very youthful.
