Inside Bagatelle's heart lies a warmer, almost creamy note. Using a blend of orange flower, muguet, and tuberose, the perfume has a long-lasting presence that releases itself in bursts throughout the day.

One of my favourite parts about Bagatelle de Gabrielle is the note left on the skin after several hours. The smell contains tonka bean, which is found in many sweet, warm fragrances. It is said to have a chocolate-like scent. Maybe that is why Bagatelle is so addictive—the perfume surrenders to a smooth woody note of creamy woods and sandalwood.

Behind each fragrance lies a story, and Omorovicza's is represented through each product packaging. The fragrance bottle may seem simple at first glance, but if you dive into the brand's story, you will see the inspiration.

A Brand With Strong Roots

Hungary's thermal waters are known to be some of the purest and most powerful thanks to the rich beneficial minerals retrieved from the earth. The ancient capital of Budapest has a history of healing waters. Omorovicza built their spa upon the Ottoman bath. Therefore, inspired by the healing properties of its water, they worked to incorporate them into skincare.

With institutes all over, the Budapest spa is where it all started. The spa uses ancient Hungarian wisdom in all of its treatments. Also, this is perfect if you are into skincare and love to be treated like a queen. Moreover, you can book online: facials, body treatments and more.

My Review

It is my first time experiencing a fragrance from a skincare range, and I am in love. The brand's story deeply spiked my curiosity, so I knew the perfume would promise a beautiful journey.

The Bagatelle perfume is beautiful both inside and out. The sweet floral juice is perfect for all women who want a soft, elegant touch to their day-to-day life. In addition, the scent is very feminine and shines all day long. I love how the perfume evolves throughout the day, almost wholly changing. I tried the perfume over three days and got many compliments from my family. If you plan on buying this scent, I recommend wearing it a full day before.

Overall, Omorovicza's Bagatelle de Gabrielle is lovely and would make a great gift, as its notes are not overpowering and hugely appreciated. I will wear this scent for summer as I like to have a fresher perfume in the hot weather.

From dreams to reality

Like dreams, fragrances can take us back to fond memories or places. The Sisley “dreamy waters” collection has a new scent, ‘L'Eau Rêvée d'Aria', and is bound to capture your imagination.

The Story Behind Aria

In this particular scent, the dream is mischievously spicy. The fragrance surrounds warm, daring notes transporting you to a swirling dream. Almost hypnotizing, this fragrance captures all of those that wear it. And remember, the “Dreamy Water” collection is unisex.

Aria's casing is designed by two artists, Elzbieta Radziwill, who painted the stunning boxes and Bronislaw Krzysztof, the sculptor of the bottle top that perfectly captures the dreamy waters image.

The Notes

Each dreamy water has its unique nature, and this fragrance is one of the warmest in the collection. Aria is made by perfectly balancing citrus and spicy notes.

The perfume opens with a vibrant burst of Bergamot, Mandarin, and Ginger notes that instantly awaken your senses. The citrus and spicy notes are incredibly fresh and energizing, giving you an instant mood boost. As the perfume continues to evolve, the heart of Osmanthus, Blackcurrant, and Nutmeg reveals itself. Addictively sweet and comforting, these notes circle you like a warm breeze. From here, the perfume becomes more sensual and mysterious as the Vanilla, Benjoin, and Patchouli notes give Aria an intense sense of power and femininity.

Although these fragrances are Eau de toilettes, Aria has a long-lasting scent that will get you compliments. Perfect for all occasions, its smell is not overpowering.

The Dreamy Water Collection

Sisley's selection of dreamy waters is inspired by the generations of imagination in the d'Ornano family. Our dreams significantly impact our lives and can inspire great creativity. Sisley's collection captures a mix of both memories and sensations that lead us to an imaginary place. My Review

After recently discovering the “dreamy water of Hubert” (review here), I could not resist the temptation. I have always been a lover of warmer, sweeter scents. So I had big hopes for this perfume. With multiple additions to the collection, I decided to give Aria's dreamy water a try.

The scent impressed me from the first moment I saw it. The bottle matches the entire collection except for its burnt orange design and ribbon. Revealing no secrets, Aria invites you into a spicy twist of gingery, nutty notes. If you love sweet, enveloping fragrances, you should give this fragrance a chance.

The eau de toilette is surprisingly intense and slowly becomes a sensual perfume. The notes of Patchouli are manageable and bring great length to the perfume. This perfume made me feel cozy and got me lots of compliments! I love this perfume and the whole concept behind the collection.

Sisley Paris L'Eau Rêvée d’Hubert Fragrance is a fresh, green, citrus scent. Described as the “masculine rose,” it delivers a burst of vibrant peppermint and earthy notes.

The Notes

Sisley Paris L'Eau Rêvée d’Hubert Fragrance has the below keynotes:

• Top notes: The fragrance opens up with a trio of Mint Accord, Shiso, and Buchu.
• Middle notes: In the heart of the fragrance lies the Geranium. Combined with Cedarwood and Papyrus, the perfume gains a masculine touch.
• Base notes: Last of all, the perfume is completed with a powerful note of Patchouli, Oakmoss accord, and Ambroxan. Adding a touch of mystery to Hubert's dream.

A Work Of Art

Sisley paired up with two impressive artists to bring their dreams to life. The polish sculptor SElżbieta Radziwiłł designed the bottle to have a delicate and sculptural appearance.

To preserve the bottle, Bronisław Krzysztof created colourful motifs for the packaging. They showcase some of Hubert's enchanted world.

My Review

Sisley fragrances have a signature scent that screams out elegance and nature. They leave an awakening sillage behind you. Inspired by universes that eyes cannot perceive, I love that they spark our imagination. The perfume Hubert's dream is a vibrant green scent. Ideal for hotter seasons or for those that like a fresher smell.

Sisley Paris L'Eau Rêvée d’Hubert Fragrance lasts a couple of hours and has a strong geranium scent. Both my partner and I tried the scent, and surprisingly it took a much more masculine touch on him, which I preferred.

The perfume bottle looks stunning and reflects light throughout the room. An actual work of art, it makes a beautiful gift for our loved ones. I would recommend this scent to previous Sisley scent lovers who enjoy green scents such as “Eau de campagne” or “O de Lancome”.

If you struggle to decide which fragrance to select, try out their ” fragrance dreamer”. Hubert's dream is an excellent addition to the collection, bringing a fresher option. Sisley sure knows how to put together a show-stopper.

Have you ever thought of perfume as more than just a scent? Escentric molecules take fragrances to new levels, creating unseen scents that play with your senses.

Molecule 01

The Molecule 01 fragrance contains one unique molecule, ISO E. This fragrance was the beginning of the brand and revolutionized the perfume industry. Understanding that perfumes have more meaning to them, Perfumer Geza Schoen crafted a scent that brings ultimate comfort and reassurance. Hovering on the skin's surface, the fragrance has a hyper-modern cedarwood note. Extremely sensual and velvety, its smell vanishes and then re-appears in bursts of aroma. This happens as the molecule slowly releases. A minimalist's dream, this scent is intimate yet long-lasting.

The Molecule

The ISO E molecule was longly unknown to the outside world. Used as a base element to harmonize other notes. The founder of Escentric molecules realized this was a common ingredient in his favourite scents and decided to create the fragrance using it solo.

The ISO E molecule was created in 1973 in a laboratory and can not be found in nature.

Fun fact: The Iso E molecule is a critical element in most perfumes and is used to create a comforting touch.

Did you know that perfume/odours have the power to enhance our emotions? It has been scientifically proven that smells affect how we perceive a place or situation. This can be a good way or bad. This element is part of the science behind the ISO E molecule and the M01. Certain smells take us back to a time in our life, a moment we cherish, making us feel comforted or relaxed. It can also boost our mood and confidence, so we reach our full potential. This can also explain why some people prefer to have more than one perfume. Just like the days of the week, our mood is forever changing.

My Experience

Taking an alternative approach to perfume, the brand's fragrances always surprise me. I tried the Molecule 01 fragrance and adored it! The aroma is surprisingly sensual and definitely adds a touch of “sexy” to your attitude.

The molecule 01 scent is an invisible but powerful addition to your day-to-day life. I tried the perfume at my work office, curious to know if the scent would stand out from others. And it did just that. I got multiple compliments on my perfume throughout the day, leaving me confident. This scent is not overpowering and can easily fit any occasion. It is a mixed scent and could easily do both sexes. Like cedarwood, the perfume has a masculine presence that some may not enjoy.

Escentric Molecules is quickly becoming one of my favourite perfumes. I previously discovered the range of varieties in the M01 range (check them out here) and find them very addictive. Knowing what is inside our products is essential, and this brand explains all elements of their creation. Fully transparent, they offer a great experience from the beginning to the end. I recommend this to all those who enjoy enveloping, woody perfumes.
