The Collection

This fragrance collection comprises six unique scents that take you through worlds of imagination. The dream waters are inspired by generations of dreams and memories from the D'Ornano family. Each scent has its unique universe, in which undared notes mix to become beautiful scents.

The Notes

It is time to explore the olfactive face of Alma's scent. And this fragrance promises fresh, dynamic notes.

The perfume opens with strong bergamot, cardamom, and basil trio. Extremely revitalizing, these fresh, green notes plunge you right into nature. The perfume intensifies with a bouquet of sensual, powdered flowers: Water Iris Accord, Rose Accord, and Jasmine Accord. They are setting the scene of elegance and fresh air. As you journey under the shading trees, the scene is set in a green aquatic space. Notice a more earthy, woody scent. This is the base note of the perfume. Composed of three well-known and long-lasting notes. Alma finishes with Vetiver, patchouli, and cedar. This scent, although very floral, is unisex.

My Experience

Before having the chance to discover the aquatic juice of Alma, I was mesmerized by the universe it creates. Having often travelled to France, this brought back great memories.

The perfume is a delight to wear and lasts pretty long. I love how the notes give off that aquatic vibe. If you are a lover of fresh but not lemony scents, then this is perfect. Could it be the scent of summer 2023?

I am back with yet another fragrance from the dreamy water collection. Today, you will discover the mysterious and hypnotic scent of Eliya.

Now I have set the scene of this fragrance; it is time to reveal this radiant juice's intriguing, warm and fragrant notes. Sisley's Eliya perfume is composed of a tropical bouquet and that earthy “after rain” note. Unique in its kind, this perfume is ideal for those who loved the previously released “Eau Tropicale” from Sisley.

The Dream Water Collection

The Notes

Now we know what universe we are in, it is time to discover the olfactive elements of this fragrance:

The Eliya scent opens on a fresh accord of bergamot, lemon, and exotic flowers. Instantly awakening our senses, the perfume is a great mood enhancer. Following the top notes comes a more floral touch. Released in bursts throughout the day, the Tuberose, Violet, and Jasmine trio add a powerful and lifting scent to the perfume. Like any garden, there are also darker, more earthy notes. Eliya has combined ambrette, cedar, and patchouli to achieve the perfume's mysterious and woody finish.

My Review

After discovering the dreamy waters of Hubert (review here) and Ikar (review here), I was curious to know what the other scents had to offer.

I have always been a lover of the tropical water from Sisley, and this sounded like a parallel universe.

The Eliya fragrance instantly sends your mind spinning into a tropical frenzy. The blend of floral and citrus notes makes this perfume vibrant. I loved how the scent changed throughout the day, but I had to retouch it as it faded after 3 hours. Eliya is perfect as a summer perfume or for those that love fresh perfumes. Easy to wear, I recommend this scent.

If you are a newcomer to the “Dreamy Water” universe, keep reading. Behind each of these scents is a universe of dreams and imagination inspired by generations of the D'Ornano family. Just like Hermes's “garden” collection, you can travel through each of these scents and discover a world of unique and daring ingredients.

I previously tried the new ” Eau Rêvée d'Aria” (review here) and “L’Eau Rêvée d’Isa” (review here). I adore them both.

L'eau de revee d'Ikar / Ikar's dreamy water perfume

The ancient myth of Icarus inspires this powerful and seductive scent. Ikar's dreamy water is composed of green mastic essence and vetiver. Turning your world upside-down, the perfume is made for the adventurous. Combining both elements of sun and freshness, the scent will take you on a journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Corsica—a treasured destination of the D'Ornano family.

The Notes

This unisex fragrance opens up with a tangy citrus note of lemon, bitter Orange, and Geranium. Awakening your senses, this trio invites you to discover the dream's heart.

Sisley is known for there unique blend of ingredients. In this perfume, the less-known spice of Lentisco is used to achieve an almost resin-like scent, combined with Iris's powdery notes and Reed accord's earthy notes. This scent is perfectly balanced. Ikar finishes on a deep green and woody note. Very masculine, the blend of Vetiver and Sandalwood gives the perfume a touch of mystery as you can imagine walking along the rocky coast of Corsica. ALso, you will spot a species of rockrose that creates a resin called labdanum in this perfume, it is sure to spike people's curiosity.

My Experience

I don't know where to start when it comes to this collection. The dreamy waters hit all the right spots for perfume, and I can't get enough of the Ikar scent.

I generally opt for a sweeter perfume, but I love this perfume on my partner. The perfume evolves into a classy, fresh scent that surprisingly last long. I love how Ikar has so many rare ingredients inside, and I recommend this to those looking to step out of the box.

I tried this scent on myself and discovered a more floral finish as the perfume evolves, so definitely give it a go on the skin. This dream sparks my imagination of a fresh summer breeze. A big win from Sisley!

The perfume envelops you like a ray of warm sun. This fragrance captures the sun's phases throughout the day, from morning to evening. The last notes bring a green, sensual, earthy note to the scent. This makes the perfume unisex—a trio of musks, accord moss, and patchouli.

My Review

After falling head over heels for the other fragrances in this collection, this scent would be ideal for my husband. The dreamy water of Isa is a warm, seductive scent that leaves space for mystery. Although it is a unisex scent, I prefer it on male skin. Most perfumes could have different evolutions if you didn't already try them.

The perfume is easy to wear and lasts a long time. It has a great character and got my husband plenty of compliments. I particularly love the notes of patchouli and musk, which make this scent comforting and sexy. Overall, I recommend this scent to those who enjoy warm perfumes.

Like dreams, fragrances can take us back to fond memories or places. The Sisley “dreamy waters” collection has a new scent, ‘L'Eau Rêvée d'Aria', and is bound to capture your imagination.

The Story Behind Aria

In this particular scent, the dream is mischievously spicy. The fragrance surrounds warm, daring notes transporting you to a swirling dream. Almost hypnotizing, this fragrance captures all of those that wear it. And remember, the “Dreamy Water” collection is unisex.

Aria's casing is designed by two artists, Elzbieta Radziwill, who painted the stunning boxes and Bronislaw Krzysztof, the sculptor of the bottle top that perfectly captures the dreamy waters image.

The Notes

Each dreamy water has its unique nature, and this fragrance is one of the warmest in the collection. Aria is made by perfectly balancing citrus and spicy notes.

The perfume opens with a vibrant burst of Bergamot, Mandarin, and Ginger notes that instantly awaken your senses. The citrus and spicy notes are incredibly fresh and energizing, giving you an instant mood boost. As the perfume continues to evolve, the heart of Osmanthus, Blackcurrant, and Nutmeg reveals itself. Addictively sweet and comforting, these notes circle you like a warm breeze. From here, the perfume becomes more sensual and mysterious as the Vanilla, Benjoin, and Patchouli notes give Aria an intense sense of power and femininity.

Although these fragrances are Eau de toilettes, Aria has a long-lasting scent that will get you compliments. Perfect for all occasions, its smell is not overpowering.

My Review

After recently discovering the “dreamy water of Hubert” (review here), I could not resist the temptation. I have always been a lover of warmer, sweeter scents. So I had big hopes for this perfume. With multiple additions to the collection, I decided to give Aria's dreamy water a try.

The scent impressed me from the first moment I saw it. The bottle matches the entire collection except for its burnt orange design and ribbon. Revealing no secrets, Aria invites you into a spicy twist of gingery, nutty notes. If you love sweet, enveloping fragrances, you should give this fragrance a chance.

The eau de toilette is surprisingly intense and slowly becomes a sensual perfume. The notes of Patchouli are manageable and bring great length to the perfume. This perfume made me feel cozy and got me lots of compliments! I love this perfume and the whole concept behind the collection.

Sisley Paris L'Eau Rêvée d’Hubert Fragrance is a fresh, green, citrus scent. Described as the “masculine rose,” it delivers a burst of vibrant peppermint and earthy notes.

The Notes

Sisley Paris L'Eau Rêvée d’Hubert Fragrance has the below keynotes:

• Top notes: The fragrance opens up with a trio of Mint Accord, Shiso, and Buchu.
• Middle notes: In the heart of the fragrance lies the Geranium. Combined with Cedarwood and Papyrus, the perfume gains a masculine touch.

My Review

Sisley fragrances have a signature scent that screams out elegance and nature. They leave an awakening sillage behind you. Inspired by universes that eyes cannot perceive, I love that they spark our imagination. The perfume Hubert's dream is a vibrant green scent. Ideal for hotter seasons or for those that like a fresher smell.

Sisley Paris L'Eau Rêvée d’Hubert Fragrance lasts a couple of hours and has a strong geranium scent. Both my partner and I tried the scent, and surprisingly it took a much more masculine touch on him, which I preferred.

The perfume bottle looks stunning and reflects light throughout the room. An actual work of art, it makes a beautiful gift for our loved ones. I would recommend this scent to previous Sisley scent lovers who enjoy green scents such as “Eau de campagne” or “O de Lancome”.

If you struggle to decide which fragrance to select, try out their ” fragrance dreamer”. Hubert's dream is an excellent addition to the collection, bringing a fresher option. Sisley sure knows how to put together a show-stopper.
