Are you ready for Spring to arrive? Besides the slightly warmer weather and blooming flowers, Spring is known for its colourful wardrobe. Here you can learn how to style the perfect outfit! Let's dive right in, starting with the stunning selection of dresses from DVF.
A Dress For Every Occasion With DVF
Although the sun still doesn't shine brightest, there is no reason not to show a little leg. DVF's spring collection is full of options, from the classic “little black dress” to the colour-bursting piece.

Here is my selection of Spring dresses that are perfect for every occasion.
–Valerie midi dress: Everyone needs a black dress in their wardrobe, and this one is ideal to dress up or down. Cut from a matte jersey textile. The Valerie dress is super comfortable and effortlessly classy. Pair it with boots or a long-length jacket for that mid-season look. Going on a night out? No problem. DVF has your back.
–Scooter chiffon mini dress: This beautiful blue/ purple camaieu of colour brightens your day the moment you wear it. The scooter dress sets a playful mood for your outfit with its chiffon textile and long sleeve. The dress is ruffled with a pleated neckline. This dress is extremely comfortable, and a good length; this dress allows you to indulge in an extra sweet treat without feeling tight. You can tighten the waist or add a belt for a cinched look.
–Queena cotton poplin midi dress: Another bright one that instantly screams “Spring”. This glorious green dress sculpts your body with its waist-hugging, puffed sleeve design. Perfect for that lunch date or girl's day out, this dress can also be worn casually or dressed up for an evening.
If you are not into dresses, then this season is for you. The suit is back, and the matching two pieces will have a massive role in the “chic” spring look. Stella McCartney has crafted a tailored yet casual suit in a soft baby pink shade.
Paired with a pair of pink sneakers, it can be your everyday outfit, or with some thin strapped heels and a white body suit, you can switch to a seductive look. Easy to wear and styled in a loose look, it is THE piece that will set you apart.
Go all out on the Silver
Another striking trend this Spring is the metallic, shiny silver looks. Silver accessories are a big part of an outfit, seen on many of the catwalks for the upcoming spring season. You will want to include it, whether a full-on silver dress or bulky silver accessories.
Gucci, have a beautiful selection of accessories, such as the oversized “long G large clip-on” earrings or the silver chain G choker.
The Shoulder Bag
Yes, you read right! The short strap shoulder is back in and is the easiest way to brighten your outfit for a spring vibe. Bottega Veneta has released an extensive range of shoulder bags that complete your outfit whilst staying perfectly useful.
My favourite model is the brick cassette, with its fiery orange/red shade. The brand has included an intreccio design to most products, including their new pants.
Never Underestimate a Good Pair of Denim Jeans
Although we see jeans throughout most seasons, this Spring, they were brought to the limelight by Bottega Veneta. Paired with a flannel top or dressed with the trending “skim” bodysuits, jeans are a must.
But why not look further than your classical jean? For example, Everlane has just released its organic cotton denim bottoms range.
For the 2023 spring/summer season, “colour” is the keyword. We can expect vibrant shades like zesty lime green or a softer lavender.
Another catchy design is “motif” prints with minimalistic cut-out or pressed designs such as circles, squares or lines.
Inspired by this Spring multi-brand catwalk, it also marks your waist with a belt. Why not add a more prominent, blingy buckle to add that touch of silver to your outfit?
What Shoes To Wear?
This Spring, the bulky heel and thick platform are still in. Brands such as Stella Mccartney have released bold designs to liven up your wardrobe.
If you want a more straightforward style, heading for a point-toe shoe will mark your points. Seen all over the catwalks, it adds a “femme fatale” element to your everyday look.
