The Aganice scent is ideal year-round and delivers a long-lasting floral and spicy aroma. The female astronomer of Ancient Greece, “Aganice, ” inspired it.” She was known for her deep knowledge of the moon and its cycles.
The white-colored wax is infused with Cardamom, Mimosa, and Tobacco, which offers a rich and comforting scent to any space it is placed in. The Aganice candle plunges us back into the atmosphere of Cape Spartel in Tangier. Formulated with vegan-friendly ingredients, this refreshing candle measures: 86 mm/3.4″ diameter x 104 mm/4.1″ height. Aesop's candle has an average burn time of 55-65 hours and should be lit for up to 2 hours at a time.
The Design
The Aganice candle has a pure and minimalistic design to it. The pure white wax reflects light inside a white tinted glass holder. Ideal for placing in medium-sized spaces, the candle easily matches interior decors.
On the front side of the candle, the Aesop logo is engraved.
How To Care For Your Candle?
To get the most out of your scented candles, there are a few steps you can follow:
- For the first use, allow the entire surface of the candle to melt.
- Keep the wick trimmed at around 0.5cm in length.
- Keep the wick centered throughout the uses by centering it before the candle sets.
- Lastly, place the candle on a flat surface to allow an even melting of the wax.
My Review
I was very excited to discover Aesop's range of scented candles, and Aganice did not disappoint. The aromatic candle was gifted to me and had me wondering why I didn't buy it earlier. The white candle releases a gentle and long-lasting aroma into the room. I placed my candle in the living space as it set a relaxing and soft ambiance. Although the candle is a little pricey, I recommend buying it. The wax melts slowly; for example, my candle lasted two months! (Burning it two hours at a time)
Overall, Aganice's perfume really makes my home feel welcoming with the blend of warm floral notes and tobacco. This candle is now on my repurchase list!
