Davines SOLU Shampoo, Sea Salt Scrub Cleanser Review

Davines SOLU Shampoo, Sea Salt Scrub Cleanser Review

Your hair comprises different sections that may need to be treated with other products. Here are a few points to consider when choosing your hair products:

  • Scalp

The scalp is the layer of skin found under the hair. Like the rest of your skin, the scalp needs love and care. Knowing your skin type is the primary key to seeing your desired results. Observe your hair: does it grease fast? Does it feel itchy? Does it flake? These are all signs of an unbalance and, therefore, should be treated with a shampoo, scrub, serum or oil.

  • Hair

Depending on its type, length, and lifestyle, your hair will need a boost from you. A lot of elements go into finding the proper hair care. You can treat your hair type using conditioners, masks, serums and oils. Leave-in products are great for quick results and should be applied to lengths.

The SOLU Shampoo

Deep cleansing removes styling products and any build-ups. By doing so, the scalp is fresh, and hair is lifted from the roots. Davines SOLU shampoo is perfect for that weekly reset. Made of natural ingredients, the shampoo creates a rich foam, softening hair. Inside you will find buckwheat extract, which boosts hair growth.

Follow your shampoo with the required conditioner.

The SOLU Sea Salt Scrub

This sea salt paste is the cleanse your scalp needs to remove build-up and pollution from your everyday life. Perfect for the city lifestyle or people that regularly use styling products. The scrub boosts natural volume as well as slows the hair ageing process. Inside this beautifully scented paste, you will find sea salt, beet sugar extract and jojoba scrubbing beads. Thus, with its 100% natural ingredients, your hair will thank you later.

The “Skinification” of Hair

One thing we don't mention enough is that a happy scalp means happy hair. Growing out from the skin, your hair is deeply rooted and benefits from a healthy skincare routine. Therefore, removing excess build-up allows the skin to function correctly. Also, the massage is to be done while using the scrub to activate the blood flow. By adding this scrub to your hair routine, you will see improvements in your hair too.

Also, the sea salt scrub works well as a shampoo to create a rich lather. Or, if you want to, you can follow up with a shampoo and conditioner.

Davines SOLU Shampoo
My Review

Davines has a massive place in my heart, so trying out the SOLU range was a delight. I recommend using this once a week and both the scrub and the shampoo. I love how foamy their products get without drying out my hair. The SOLU hair care range is excellent for people that want a hair fix during the week. If you regularly have your hair up with gel, wax or foams, this helps remove them in the blink of an eye. My hair felt so light and clean afterwards. The scrub is gentle and helps my irritated scalp. A definite addition to my hair care stand.

I recently emptied the shampoo and conditioner duo from Davines NaturalTech Replumping range. I have to say I am obsessed with their haircare products.
