The packaging is luxurious. The sumptuous pink velvet feels soft and smooth. The pink is more comparable to rosewood. The velvet case depicts the powdery matte finish of the formula very well. The overall design of the lipstick stays the same. For instance, the 4G emblem, ultra-sleek case, the opening, and the closing mechanism. Givenchy Le Rouge Sheer Velvet Lipstick has a sheer matte finish. The formula leaves a blurred and soft-focus effect on the lips once applied. It looks very natural and put together, without any feathering. The lipstick has a nice pigment, neither opaque nor sheer. And just one swipe delivers a nice color. It is not drying at all. The formula is hydrating and comfortable on the lips. It glides on nicely and feels super lightweight. The longevity is impressive too. I am wearing two shades regularly and love how they leave a hint of color once they are worn off after few hours on my lips.
