Victoria Beckham Beauty Smoky Eye Brick in ‘Royal' is one of the richly pigmented palettes from the brand. This is my first eye palette from Victoria Beckham Beauty. I do adore other eye products that I have tried from her. All the Smoky eye bricks are inspired by Victoria's signature smoky eye and iconic style. The packaging of the Eye Brick is in a sleek brass compact that looks very sophisticated and chic. The overall packaging follows the same scheme of color and design as other Victoria Beckham beauty products.
Shades
Victoria Beckham Beauty Smoky Eye Brick in Royal features hues ranging from cobalt to rich navy for a bold, fashion-inspired smoky lid. It has the following shades:
- Creme – It is an off white shade
- Denim – It is a steel blue shade
- Marine – It is a rich navy shade
- Cerulean – It is a cobalt blue shade
The shades in the palettes are carefully curated. The finish is either matte or soft satin. Each palette has all the shades one needs to create a smoky eye. The formula of the powder shadow is smooth and lightweight. It is pigmented and is easily buildable. For this particular Victoria Beckham Beauty Smoky Eye Brick in Royal, one swipe provides a sheer to medium pigment. The finish is matte and does not look flat. The shades come out vibrant and beautiful than they look in the pan. They all work together very well and blend nicely.
The creme shade act as a nice base and the rest of the blue layer nicely over it. I have not experienced any fallout or creasing. The wear time is good too. For me personally, I do not think I can have a lot of regular use of it but it is for occasional use. Like matching or color coordinating with my outfit or otherwise for the custom looks on cultural occasions.
To add a bit of fine shimmer, I love adding the Lid Lustre in Midnight and Satin Kajal Liner.
