When it comes to premium luxury skincare, it doesn’t get much better than Clé De Peau Beauté. From cleansers to facial oils and just about everything in-between, this brand leaves nothing uncovered when it comes to facial products. One range that I’ve been hoping to get my hands on for a while is the infamous Synactif range from the brand. It’s a super-advanced line that uses cutting-edge technology and is inspired by detoxifying spa rituals.
The range consists of five products; a soap, a lotion, an eye cream and two moisturizers (day and night). It aims to improve skin tone, balance out skin texture and improve lymphatic drainage. But how?
Lymphatic capillaries run through our entire bodies and work to collect and expel impurities and excess fluid away through our veins. After rigorous research, Clé de Peau Beauté found that these capillaries start to function less effectively as we age. Therefore, the brand has based this range on a ground-breaking new ingredient. It is a complex that contains mulberry white bark, Cinnamomum cassia bark and Lamium album leaf. These ingredients are said to work in tandem to help prevent lymphatic capillaries from deteriorating.
How to use Clé De Peau Beauté Synactif Skincare Range
It is recommended that all of the products from this range are used together in order to achieve maximum results. The soap should be used first, as it’s the first step to ensuring that skin is rid of any excess oils or impurities. It foams up into a delicate lather. So it feels like it’s really cleaning the skin, but doesn’t leave it feeling stripped or tight. It also contains hyaluronic acid to improve hydration levels and combat dryness.
Next up, it’s time for lotion. I apply it with a cotton pad (a pea-sized amount is enough) and swiped it across the face, neck and décolletage. The lotion is particularly luxurious, as it has a slight rose scent and instantly makes skin appear brighter.
Depending on what time of day the products are being applied, either the day cream or night moisturizer should follow. It’s worth investing in both as there is a huge difference between these two products – one helps to shield skin against environmental aggressors, and the night-time cream aids the skin in repairing itself from the day’s damage.
Finally, it’s time for the eye cream. This contains a brightening ingredient to help diminish dark circles and retinol that gets to work on fine lines and wrinkles. I found the texture of this to be super lightweight. I hate anything too heavy or sticky on my skin, and the skin around my eyes sucks this cream up almost instantly.
Overall, I absolutely loved this range. It felt so luxurious at every step, and I’ve definitely seen results since I started using it. It might seem expensive, but for me, if it defies the need for botox – I’m totally on board!
