I love a good essence in my skincare routine. Lancome Clarifique Dual Facial Essence caught my interest since it launched. It is the newest innovation from Lancome that not only helps with the skin texture but overall skin health. This essence is a top-up to any skincare routine. It prepares the skin for better absorption and benefits of the serum and moisturizer.
Key Ingredients
Lancome Clarifique Dual Facial Essence has a bi-phase formula that has a whisk inserted in the bottle. The whisk blends both phases. But still, I prefer shaking the bottle a little for the two layers to mix before application. The bi-phase formula is made of:
- 97% Clear Facial Essence – It has French beech bud extract, Vitamin Cg, a blend of Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid to gently exfoliate and purify for clear skin.
- 3% Lipidic Enriched Essence – It has grapeseed oil that is rich in Omega-6 fatty acids to reinforce the skin barrier and lock in moisture.
Lancome Clarifique Dual Facial Essence has a water-like consistency. I like using it with a cotton pad. It is gentle and lightweight on the skin. My skin is not new to acids in skincare products. I did not feel any sensitivity or irritation with this essence. I have been using this essence for over a month now and feel ready to share my thoughts. Since day 1, I did feel clarity in my skin overall. As I used it regularly, my skin is smooth, soft, and radiant. My skin is even and hydrated. I have not noticed any breakouts. Moreover, I feel my serums work much better over this essence. They penetrate deeper and also the pores seem to be small without any congestion.
Overall, Clarifique Dual Facial Essence is a very nice addition to my skincare routine. My skin has clarity, evenness, and radiance. It is hydrated without any dryness.
