Clarins has relaunched their foaming cleanser with more natural formula and I am so excited. I have used Clarins Purifying Cleanser in the past for my combination skin and loved it. I am happy to rediscover the new version of their cleansers. The relaunched cleansers are enriched with extracts of Alpine herbs from the Domaine Clarins (organic yellow gentian and organic lemon balm). Also, this new collection contains effective ingredients that are part of protection and respect for plants as well as the skin. The four Clarins Cleansers I am referring to here are explained below.
Clarins Gentle Renewing Cleansing Mousse
Gentle Renewing Cleansing Mousse with Alpine herb extract and Tamarind pulp acids is a very gentle cleanser that cleanses and brightens the skin. It is not drying at all. This cleanser is suitable for all skin types. The light mousse texture is easy to work with. The key ingredients include moringa and balm mint to help calm, soothe, and soften the skin while tamarind extract for its exfoliating properties. And due to the tamarind extract, that contains AHA, the cleansing mousse also brightens the skin.
It works nicely as a first cleanse for the morning as well as a second cleanse for the evening. It leaves the skin soft, refreshed, clean, and comfortable. The cleanser has a herbal scent to it that fades quickly without giving any issues to me personally.
Clarins Purifying Gentle Foaming Cleanser
Purifying Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Alpine herb and Meadowsweet extracts is a gentle cleanser for oily to combination skin types. It gently cleanses, purifies, and refines the skin texture. As mentioned, I have used this cleanser in the past and loved it. With this relaunched version, I am enjoying it for my combination skin. It is gentle enough to keep the skin in balance and prevent any breakouts. This formula has a minimum of 91% natural ingredients in it.
Now that the weather is changing, this cleanser is working really well for me. Apart from cleansing the skin, it does not dry or irritates the skin. I find my skin is comfortable, clean, smooth, and hydrated. It calms my breakouts if I have any. The key ingredients, like other Clarins Cleansers, include meadowsweet extract to help maintain healthy, matte skin, moringa extract to help eliminate pollution particles, while balm mint to soothe, calm and soften the skin.
Clarins Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser
Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Alpine herb and Aloe Vera extracts gently cleanses the skin and is suitable for normal to dry skin types. Again, it is gentle enough and does not cause any dry or stretching feeling to the skin. On the other hand, it feels soothing and hydrating on the skin.
It leaves the skin fresh and radiant. Also, my mom loves the natural herbal smell of it. I do not use it for my combination skin but my mom loves this cleanser. She has a normal skin type that is more on the dry side during this time of the year. Moreover, this cleanser has won many awards in the face wash category. The key ingredients include aloe vera for its moisturizing properties, gentian extract for its stimulating properties, moringa extract, and balm mint extract for their properties as mentioned earlier for other Clarins Cleansers.
Clarins Soothing Gentle Foaming Cleanser
Soothing Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Alpine herb and Shea butter extracts is a gentle cleanser for dry and sensitive skin types. Apart from cleaning the skin, it also soothes the dry and very dry skin. The key ingredients include moringa extracts, gentian extracts, and balm mint extracts for their properties mentioned earlier. It also has Roman chamomile extract for its soothing, relaxing, and cleansing properties while Shea extracts for its soothing and protecting factors.
Again, I have not used it but my mom has. She finds it very hydrating and soothing. Her skin feels so soft, smooth, and comfortable. The cleanser has a herbal fragrance that dissipates quickly.
Apart from the Clarins Cleansers, I am loving the new shades of Clarins Lip Comfort Oil Shimmer. They are so comforting and nourishing for my dry lips.
