TriPollar STOP Vx Review

I’m always a bit dubious about spending a colossal amount of money on a facial device. Investing that much money without knowing if the device will do the trick is just a bit too risky for my liking. And I have to say, generally, I don’t hold very high expectations for facial devices, either. They all seem a bit too ‘samey samey’, and I just never know whether it’ll come through or just prove to be a gimmick.

Saying that –, I was absolutely blown away by the TriPollar STOP Vx device. Sure, it’s expensive. But take it from me – it’s worth it! It utilizes some seriously advanced anti-ageing technology – Multi-RF and DMA technologies, to be precise – and aims to enhance the contours of the face and smooth the skin simultaneously.

This technology is impressive. It emits radio frequency waves that channel heat into the dermis layer of the skin, stimulating collagen production and increasing skin’s elasticity. A smoother and plumper complexion is revealed – and I found that any fine lines I had before the treatment were less visible. The DMA technology within the device helps to stimulate the facial muscles to improve facial contours and definition. It goes deep to target the different muscles in the face, and, in essence, gives your face a ‘workout’. After using this over the course of a few weeks, I noticed that my jawline and cheekbones looked way more defined than they did before. My skin also felt smoother and tauter than ever. 

How to use the TriPollar Vx Device

If you want good results, there are a few rules to follow when using this device. I always start with cleansed, dry skin, so that I’m not working any dirt into my pores during the treatment. You then have to apply a tiny bit of the TriPollar Preparation Gel over the face and neck. Without doing so, the skin will not conduct the heat and rays from the device.

When using, I tend to divide my face into sections – both of my cheeks, forehead, and neck/jawline. Focussing on one area first, I lightly place the device on the surface of my skin and apply light pressure. It’s recommended to move the device in slow round motions around the area. This will ensure that each part of the skin heats up to the correct temperature.  

TriPollar STOP Vx has an orange indicator light, which shines and beeps once the area has reached the optimal temperature for the treatment. Once this happens, I still focus on the same area for a further 5 minutes before moving on to the next ‘section’. Once the whole face has been treated, I rinse the gel from my face and follow with a light moisturizer.

I would definitely recommend this product. It’s expensive, yes. But I have seen real results – and when I compare the cost of this to how much I spend on facials, it really doesn’t seem like much to pay!
