I am back yet again with another review of the Givenchy Prisme collection. Today I will share my experience with Givenchy's “skin-caring concealer”.

The Skin-Caring Concealer

Available in a vast 24 shades, Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Concealer is a must-have in your makeup routine. It is ideal for hiding dark circles, imperfections or hyperpigmentations. Like the colour-correcting concealer (review here), they comprise 95% natural ingredients. They have a buildable coverage that stays natural.

The concealers have an easy-to-work-with wand that picks up a generous amount of product. When used flat, it can cover large zones, or the tip provides more precision. Wipe away your tired eyes in one swipe.

Along with its camouflaging talents, this concealer offers great skin-perfecting results. Helping blur out fine lines, imperfections and pigmentation, the skin has a smoother, radiant look. Givenchy has taken into account everyone's desire to have long-lasting makeup. Their new formula promises up to a 24h hold which makes it ideal for those who don't have time for touch-ups during the day.

The Prisme libre concealer has a pretty impressive size, and this is because it doubles up as a foundation. You can apply it in the targeted zones or on all of the face.

My Review

As a lover of high-coverage concealers, I was not disappointed by Givenchy's newest addition. Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Concealer delivers a beautiful, creamy texture that blends out effortlessly. To wear alone or over foundation, the concealer brightens the eye contour and hides away signs of fatigue.

Although we are not on a super high coverage product, you can quickly build the layers to achieve a full correction.

I selected the shade N280, tried it out as a foundation, and loved the result. The concealer works onto the skin, leaving a natural finish. This is an excellent option for those who want to wear foundation occasionally.

As I previously purchased the Prisme collection, they work together perfectly. My skin looks even and smooth and has a healthy glow to it. I 100% recommend this concealer and love how easy it is to work with.

NEW must-have Male fragrance of Spring 2023

The Gentleman fragrance from Givenchy is taking a modern and exquisite turn. The well-known fragrance has a new brother, and boy, oh boy, does it smell divine!

The Perfume

Givenchy Gentleman Society Parfum is composed of exceptional raw materials. More than just a new scent, the fragrance brings a fresh perspective to the modern Gentleman. “Not a place, a state of mind.”

Givenchy selected the talented British artist Benjamin Clementine to incarnate the new Gentleman. His generous personality, creativity and radiating elegance set an example for future generations and inspire us all to become better versions of ourselves.

The Design

A new fragrance means a new design, and Givenchy never disappoints. The inspiration for this scent comes from “Givenchy couture”. Reinterpreting the iconic Gentleman, the bottle has a deep black lacquer with the signature silver-metal 4G logo. The brand is making efforts regarding the environment by using 15% post-consumer recycled glass.

The Notes

Givenchy Gentleman Society Parfum is a woody-floral scent that is highly sensual and addictive. Leaving a memorable trail behind you, the perfume releases its unique blend of sweet and spicy notes.

This perfume screams “classy”. It opens with a fresh Sage blend combined with absolute wild Daffodil flowers harvested in the heart of France. To add a masculine touch to the fragrance's heart, Givenchy selected a combination of Vetiver quartets from Haiti, Uruguay and Madagascar. This adds an earthy note to the scent found in the previous versions. Like the design, the perfume has a darker, more intense note combined with Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. Long-lasting, these notes dance around you, leaving a deliciously attractive note.

My Experience

I fell in love with Givenchy Gentleman Society Parfum from the moment I discovered it. The Gentleman range has never disappointed me; this fragrance promises a great olfactive experience. Long-lasting and intense, this perfume is great for lovers of stronger scents. I love the design of the bottle. Bringing an edgy touch to the classic bottle would make a beautiful gift! Givenchy has yet again cracked the modern-day interpretation of the Gentleman.

The powder delivers an even complexion with a transparent, second-skin finish. Also, this works well with the current trend of the fresh-faced, mo makeup look. The loose powder comes with a fluffy houpette cushion, making applying the soft, airy powder easier. My Review

I enjoyed discovering this powder. Givenchy has always fascinated me, and I regularly use their “mister healthy glow bronzer”. I did not feel like it was “cakey “, and I would even recommend this to those who use the meteorite powder from Guerlain. Also, it has more coverage with a similar perfecting effect.

Givenchy Prisme Libre Loose Powder is very light and smells divine. I applied it with the houpette over my foundation and got a silky smooth finish to my skin. The powder helps to blur out the skin whilst mattifying any shiny spots. The prisme libre feels excellent on the skin but is messy, so pick up only a little. All in all, this powder gives excellent results and looks stunning in the makeup bag.

The correctors are made up of 95% natural ingredients and have a 90% skincare base. What does this mean? When using the Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Correctors, you will get a unified look with comfort and hydration. Thus, leaving skin supple. All the shades can be built up for higher coverage while keeping that lightweight feel.

How To Use It?

Keep reading if you are new to the colour-correcting world or want a refresher on using the different shades.

• Blue – radiance booster: The bright lavender shade helps correct yellow undertones and illuminates tired-looking skin.

My Experience

Where to start with these correctors. Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Correctors are very easy to use and blend effortlessly on the skin. They are ideal for hiding imperfections and also help balance out foundations.

As it is rare that shade 100% matches my skin tone, I used them under some previous foundations that were too orange.

I love the handy format and design. I apply the correctors before my beige corrector or foundation. And they apply well using the petal-shaped applicator, which holds a generous amount of product.

The best thing about these correctors is the texture. Thus, they leave the skin feeling moisturized and don't slip or crease throughout the day. Extremely lightweight and comfortable, I even forgot I was wearing makeup. Overall, I would 100% recommend these correctors.

In this edition of Irresistible, the power of femininity is pushed forwards. Celebrating the elegance and rareness of the queen of flowers: the rose. The velvet edition is just as soft as the name. As you spritz the perfume onto your skin, a fruity note of Blackcurrant and rose awakens your senses. Sweet but not sickly, the floral fragrance dresses the skin with a delicious aroma. Following is a powdery Iris note that adds deep texture to the perfume. Combined with White Patchouli and Tender Wood, the smell becomes sensual and classy.

My Review

I am not generally a fan of floral fragrances, but Givenchy has brought a modern interpretation to the rose. The aroma is perfectly balanced, and I love how the sweetness of the Blackcurrant lingers in the air. Irresistible velvet has a smooth finish and got me many compliments during the day. It is a well-thought perfume that is suitable for all ages. I recommend Givenchy Irresistible Eau de Parfum Rose Velvet as it lasts long and smells divine.

Givenchy also released a complimentary range of makeup products. They are dressed in the same creamy pink colour and create the perfect gift or collection items. The perfume is ideal for those who want a medium to high-intensity fragrance. People can definitely find where you have been sitting when wearing it. That said, unlike usual floral scents, I did not get a headache or feel overwhelmed by its powder presence. A great success from Givenchy yet again!

My Experience

There is a glow version of this foundation which is also worth checking out. It gives a beautiful glowy finish without looking or feeling oily or heavy. This foundation in matte or glow version depending on my mood and how my skin is behaving, and Rose Perfecto Lip Balm are my everyday go-to.
