ReVive Brightening Moisture Mask is ideal for all skin types except oily and acne-prone ones. The formula is rich in nourishing actives, which is not recommended for these skin types.

You can apply the mask once a week to prevent dehydration, and the mask is a great idea before events for an extra smooth, bright look. Please leave it to sit for up to 15 minutes and proceed to rinse it with water.

Revive skin care is my go-to for hydration, and I just had to try the transforming mask for myself. I believe that skincare should be fun and easy. And that is exactly what the brightening mask is. I applied it for three weeks, and my skin looks energetic and soft. I generally use it if I have a night out planned, as the instant results are worth sharing!

I’ve suffered from dull skin for as long as I can remember. It doesn't change no matter how much water I drink or how many skin-loving vitamins I take, it doesn’t change. Pair that with the hyper-pigmentation on my cheeks and forehead, and we have a real nightmare! That’s why I was so excited about this. Not only does it promise to help to brighten the complexion, but it claims to help combat dark spots, too.

The serum is formulated with the brand’s dark spot correcting complex, along with hyaluronic acid, squalene, and powerful anti-oxidants. While squalene and hyaluronic acid help with the hydration side of things, the product is also powered by the brand’s RES Technology. This is a method that uses bio-engineered proteins to help promote rapid skin cell turnover. In a nutshell? It’ll help shed damaged and dead skin cells faster than any normal serum.

My Review

The product has a light, almost watery texture that my skin absolutely lapped up, which was a good sign. This meant that the molecules within the formula were small enough to seep through the top layer of my skin, getting inside to work its magic. When a product vanishes on the skin virtually instantly, it means that it’s actually taking some effect, as opposed to just sitting on the surface.

As soon as I applied Perfectif Even Skin Tone Serum, my skin felt very hydrated and definitely looked less lacklustre than before – an instant win! I also found, over the course of a few weeks, that my dark spots seemed much less apparent than before. While this may be an expensive habit to upkeep, I think my hyperpigmentation could be significantly improved with prolonged use of this stuff. Pretty impressive!

My Skincare Routine With This Serum

When you’re spending a lot of money on a product, you want to make sure that you are getting the most from it. This is why I follow a brief routine before applying this serum in the evening. Firstly, I double cleanse my skin by slathering on a cleansing balm to remove make-up, before using a hot cloth cleanser to help open up my pores. Then, I exfoliate (either with a chemical or physical exfoliant) to rid my skin of any dead skin cells. I then leave my skin slightly damp before putting on the serum, so that the hyaluronic acid in the product can lock in the moisture left on my skin. Then, I follow up with a night cream. I also like to apply a pea-sized amount of the product to my face in the mornings, before applying my SPF. The anti-oxidant ingredient in the serum helps to shield against skin-damaging environmental factors that can cause pigmentation to flare up.

The product contains bio-volumizing protein, which helps to improve skin density. Volumizing peptide complex, an amino acid and peptide combination, also gets to work on skin’s volume and texture. The luxe serum also contains ‘skin identical’ synergistic lipid concentrate. It is an ingredient that helps maintain a healthy skin barrier by mimicking its natural processes. In addition, there’s a skin-brightening antioxidant thrown into the mix. And that helps to brighten the complexion, as well as antioxidants that help to fight against any environmental damage.

This serum is the more intense ReVive Skincare Intensité Volumizing Serum version. It is a more targeted product that can be used on specific areas of the face – such as crow's feet lines, laughter lines, frown lines, etc. The texture is quite watery but not too thin that it slides off of the skin. It seems to sink into the skin well without feeling tacky. That is a good sign that the molecules within the product are small enough to penetrate the skin and have a lasting effect.

Applying The Serum

Normally, I use a different serum in the morning and evening. In the morning, I will go for a serum that brightens, hydrates and protects my skin. That may be a quick dose of vitamin C or hyaluronic acid). In the evening, I will use my targeting treatments. To me, this is a treatment that I would use every night to maintain its results. Especially good for my dry skin, I find that applying a pea-sized amount onto cleansed, exfoliated skin is best. That is before following with my night cream. This product can be used in the morning, too, should you wish.

My Thoughts On Intensité Volumizing Serum Ultime

I liked this product. It’s an expensive, luxurious product that has been formulated by a science-led brand – which justifies the price tag. I definitely felt a difference in the texture of my skin. After just one use, and over the past few weeks, I can tell that my lines seem less apparent. I also like that this product is packed with antioxidants. So I know it is working as a shield from anything in the environment that might mess with my skin’s equilibrium.
