Epionce Skincare Review – Acne-Prone Skin

Epionce Skincare Review – Acne-Prone Skin

Epionce Skincare is not a new brand for me. I loved the results of Lytic Gel Cleanser so much that this brand made a permanent place in my mind and on my shelf. I shared about Lytic Gel Cleanser in 2017 here. This is one of those cleansers you feel like it instantly started working once you put it on. It is still a favourite all-time cleanser for me. Lytic Gel Cleanser has received multiple beauty awards over the last five years and is very well-deserved. Sharing some deets of my acne-prone skincare routine from Epionce.

I was curious to try more products from Epionce, especially for my skin type, which is a combination prone to congestion and dark spots. So here I am sharing my personal experience after using four products from the line that are suited for my skin type and concerns. I have used these products for over three weeks and 5-6 nights weekly.

Epionce Purifying Spot Gel

Starting with the Purifying Spot Gel that also made it to my top 4 spot treatments for acne; more details here. It works like a charm for any suspected acne spot or a spot that is already forming or formed. I use it as a spot treatment on the actual breakout at night. In the morning, the acne spot has either diminished or has significantly improved. I feel a very slight tingle on the spot, and that is all. The recovery time for the breakout is far less compared to the normal phase of acne. The active ingredients in this treatment are Resorcinol Monoacetate 3.0%; Sulfur 4.0% – both work as anti-bacterial and acne treatments. Definitely a keeper for me!

Epionce MelanoLyte Pigment Perfection Serum

MelanoLyte Pigment Perfection Serum targets dull and uneven skin. I have been using it every night and noticed that my skin is bright and even. The stubborn dark spots and pigmentation look faded. I will be approaching my 40s soon, and the occasional breakouts still leave a dark spot on my skin. This serum has not irritated my skin at all.

Epionce MelanoLyte Tx

I use MelanoLyte Tx in conjunction with the MelanoLyte Pigment Perfection Serum. The duo works so well together. I use MelanoLyte Tx after the serum. It is very lightweight and applies well to the skin. My skin is bright and smooth, and even the dark spots have noticeably faded.

I have used Lytic Plus Tx and Lytic Gel Cleanser several times. But I am satisfied and love the results from the above four products I mentioned. I plan to use Lytic Plus Tx if I get breakouts regularly. Also, from my current nightly routine, I have noticed a slight dryness in a few areas of the face. Not sure it is due to the products, but it is very slight that it can be ignored. But instead, I try including a hydrating serum in my daytime skincare routine, which helps keep the skin in check.

Overall, as I was hoping for these products to work for me – they actually did. Epionce Skincare is one of the physician-strength skincare lines that is based on clinical skin research. I would highly recommend you check out this line if you have skin concerns related to uneven skin tone, dark spots, pigmentation, and breakouts.
