Liz Earle – My Skincare Routine

Liz Earle – My Skincare Routine

Since the time I started getting serious about my skin and skincare, the first few brands that I was more intrigued to try after hearing great things about it was Liz Earle, and that is like 5 years back. The products were available only in the UK and I was waiting to get my hands on this on my next visit their but then all the products I am using and testing, I was not able to try these. Finally, I had the chance to try and test these for last few months and finally going to share them with you. Liz Earle Beauty Co. was founded on the tranquil shores of the UK's Isle of Wight which has launched exclusively in the US at QVC and qvc.com. The products are inspired by nature, using some of the finest quality botanical ingredients, Liz Earle offers a range of award-winning skincare that really works for all ages and skin types.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is the hero product of the brand, one sells every 15 seconds around the globe. Cleanse & Polish is a rich cream that instantly removes daily grime, pollutants, and makeup, even stubborn mascara while the pure cotton cloth that comes complimentary with it, gently exfoliates without stripping skin, lifting away dead skin cells to reveal a healthy-looking glow. The ingredients of Cleanse & Polish are the carefully chosen blend of botanical ingredients designed to optimize skin condition, including cocoa butter to soften, smooth, and moisturize, and rosemary, chamomile and eucalyptus to tone, smooth, and purify.

I massage Cleanse & Polish onto dry skin over my face and neck, finishing over my eye area. Then I rinse the pure cotton cloth in warm water and wring out before gently polishing off the cream. Then I splash normal cool water on my face. I have been really loving this cleansing ritual, all makeup and the day's grime just melts away and the hot cloth on the face feels so relaxing. The aroma of the product is herbal and really uplifts the senses. My skin feels clean and toned, ready for the next step.

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator is a creamy exfoliator that gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities to reveal smoother, more radiant skin. It is ideal for the dull, congested or flaky skin. The tiny biodegradable jojoba wax beads gently buff away surface debris. The smoothing benefits of Gentle Face Exfoliator come from a unique blend of botanical ingredients, selected for their skin refining properties, including purifying eucalyptus, skin softening cocoa butter, and gently exfoliating jojoba wax beads.

I apply two pumps of this exfoliator after cleansing and lightly massage onto the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. The beads are really soft in texture, not like the generic hard beads in an exfoliator. With gentle fingertip pressure and gentle friction of the beads, the dead skin cells slough away.  Then I rinse off with warm water and pat dry, then I move onto my serum and moisturizer. This is a nice addition to my exfoliators and I have already used it twice every week for last few months. It helps my pores clear and helps in no blocked pores. It is gentle on my combination skin and I do feel the beads are very smooth and does not give that scratchy kind of feeling when using it, the skin feels smooth and clear.

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturizer

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturizer is the third step in my skincare routine. Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturizer hydrates, smoothes and softens while plumping and balancing skin. It is rich in naturally active ingredients and is formulated with a nourishing blend of natural plant extracts, including GLA-rich British borage and avocado oils to moisturize, and echinacea and natural source vitamin E to condition the skin. The formula is lightweight and silky, suitable for normal and combination skin types. It is a nice moisturizer and makes my skin moisturized without giving that oily feel and residue. It does works perfectly on my combination acne prone skin. The formula sinks into the skin in no time and gives a beautiful glow.

Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask

Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask is a concentrated clay and botanical mask to refresh and rebalance oily, blemish-prone skin, leaving it calmed and deeply cleansed. Deep Cleansing Mask has been formulated with a special blend of botanical ingredients, including purifying green clay and soothing manuka honey, propolis and aloe vera, plus the uplifting fragrance of rose-scented geranium. I apply it on clean, dry skin after cleansing, leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then remove it with the thoroughly rinsed sponge which is included with the mask. It does work pretty well as a spot treatment for the blemishes and the problem areas. This has become a regular mask in the rotation when I need deep cleansing and feel some congestion or breakouts are going to appear.

Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate for Night

Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate for Night is a rich, aromatic concentrate for the face, neck, and decollete. The ingredients include softening argan oil and rosehip oils, and the soothing scent of neroli, lavender, and chamomile essential oils. With all the ingredients, it smells amazing. This concentrate works great on the nights my skin needs some massage, I take a pump of it in my palms and breathe in the aroma, massage into the skin in an upward and outward motion using firm pressure. With the fingertips, I gently smooth in an outward circular direction along the cheekbones to above the eyebrows. Then I finish by gently sweeping my hands up the neck and down over the decollete. As I have combination skin, I take one and a half pump of it and feel it is enough for me. I feel my skin is plump, bright, and smooth in the morning when I do my massage ritual on the night before. It is a great choice to treat the skin.

With a beautiful range of products and something for every skin type, I am happy to share them along with my thoughts on these. I highly recommend you to check this line. This is one of my posts from the series of skincare posts dedicating to the brands I am loving and been testing since last few months. Liz Earle Beauty is launched exclusively in the US at QVC and qvc.com.
