Valmont Purifying Pack is the newest addition to my skincare routine. It is a clay mask for skin purification, detoxification, and also to mattify the complexion. I have a combination skin that needs help with occasional breakouts and pores that get whiteheads. So, I prefer something gentle on the skin that is not drying. Usually, the clay mask tends to dry my skin except for the few I love. And I have to say that this Valmont Purifying Pack has to be among my favourites.
Key Ingredients
The key ingredient in the Valmont Purifying Pack is Black silt that basically purifies the skin. It helps detoxify the skin while balancing the pores for an even-looking and radiant complexion. I am not sure it is just me but there is a hint of natural smell of black silt that my sensitive nose can notice. But it is not strong and does not bother me for 15-20 minutes. Another key ingredient is Burdock extract which acts as an astringent and softens the skin while regulating the oil secretion from the skin.
My Thoughts
The mask has a very smooth and light texture. It almost feels like applying a thin layer of soft cream on the skin. Once applied to the skin, it tingles a bit and warms a little. I keep it on for 15-20 minutes before removing it with a damp washcloth or simply by rinsing it with water. There is a very nice soothing and cooling effect on the skin when I rinse it with water.
Valmont Purifying Pack is a staple in my skincare routine. I use it once a week normally. And when my skin is behaving, I use it more often. This is the beauty of this gentle but effective mask that I can use as often as is necessary. As the weather changes, my skin behaves more than usual. But this year, I have noticed my skin is pretty much in the balance. I have noticed no or I should say very few breakouts. I am using the Valmont Purifying Pack regularly, every weekend. My skin is comfortable and the pores look tight. The overall texture of the skin looks even and clear. I do not notice any dryness on my skin after using this clay mask. It mattifies the skin but to the limit, my skin is radiant and supple. This has to be a staple in my skincare routine.
