My Review

As a long lover of creamy eyeshadows, I had to try the Byredo colour sticks! I love these three shades and am amazed by the long-lasting and intense colours. I recommend these eyeshadow sticks to makeup artists of all levels as they are easy to use and don't make a mess. The colour sticks are also great for blushers or highlighters, as they blend perfectly into natural skin or other makeup. The color sticks are one of my favorite stick eyeshadows and will be my go-to for the 2024.

Its formula is lightweight, can be built up to achieve a fuller lash line if needed, and lasts all day. For those working in humid climates, I recommend the Waterproof edition. The space black mascara is perfect for those who dislike bulky or clumpy textures. Its tiny brush is comfortable to hand and comes off like a dream when removing makeup.

My Review

After hearing so much about the Byredo vinyl lipsticks, I finally tried them and got my three favourite shades. The vinyl lipsticks are beautifully presented in see-through tubes with a modern, minimal design. This makes it super easy to find them in my makeup draw.

I loved the soft and light texture; amazingly, one swipe was enough to cover the whole lip. The shades are all highly pigmented and have the perfect shine to them! This collection is ideal for those who want a shiny lip without the discomfort of a sticky gloss texture.

I use it daily and always get compliments from my loved ones about how good my hair smells! It's a true game-changer when it comes to fragrances and finishing touches. You can easily transport the generous format in your bag for retouches or travelling. The perfume is vaporized in a light mist, which avoids weighing down the hair or causing a greasy appearance.

Byredo has a selection of home fragrance products. Ranging from scented candles to textile perfumes and accessories. The Byredo candles are luxurious products. Covered with multiple signature touches, these candles set the level a little higher than usual. The design revolves around a dark smoky black shade. The contrasting signature label reveals the scent with black glass, wax, and wick.

The candles are a Vegan woody formula. Preserved in recyclable glass packaging they give off a medium Intensity scent for up to 60h.

When you have finished your candle don't throw away your jar. Reuse it for another purpose.

The ” Vanquish” Story

This scented candle sets the scene of a dense forest, rich in century-old trees. The damp scent of the undergrowth and earth rises to meet the newly blossoming flowers.

The Notes

Here are the listed notes found in the candle's fragrance:

Top notes: Green Rose Bud, Rosewater. The first scent is a burst of freshness. With a rich aquatic rose note.

Heart: Incense, Ginger. Following is a more intense note. Adding a touch of mystery to our floral bouquet. Almost like the shade from the trees above.

Base: Cedarwood, Guaiac Woods, Cistus Labdanum. And last is a down-to-earth, deeply rooted touch. This is the woody forest.

My Experience

Having tested multiple candles, I would recommend Vanquish. With a subtle touch, this candle is perfect for smaller spaces or a softer touch in a bedroom or bathroom. I lit the candle for a period of 2h each time and the fragrance lasted the majority of the day. The scent leaves a beautiful calm ambience, I particularly enjoyed it on an evening. Bear in mind that you have regularly cut the wick to keep your candle burning correctly!

I found the minimalist design very elegant and perfect for decorating the room. With a 240g size, it fits perfectly on a smaller shelf or surface.

For Summer fragrance, I am enjoying this one from Byredo.

The Fragrance

This perfume finds itself most definitely in the Spicy, oriental category. Created for men and women, its evolution can be completely different depending on the skin's acidity. Audacious, this perfume makes you feel powerful.

Let's take a closer look at the notes hidden inside:

Top Notes

The top notes are the first notes we smell. A sweet & fruity beginning is balanced out with Saffron (Often used in perfumes to hold a leather note). Adding Pomelo brings a bitter citrus scent to the top notes:

Saffron

Heart Notes

The heart notes are second up and add character to the perfume. Here comes that deep leather note, giving the perfume a smoky, woody scent. Joined by an elegant powdered rose and a feisty black violet. Every note seems to dance around the other creating an addictive scent.

Accord Cuir

Base Notes

The base notes stay through your olfactory experience. The sweetness of raspberry balanced out with an earthy vetiver note is sublime. This gives the perfume a masculine touch. The blond wood has a similar scent to rain hitting the ground, almost electric:

Vetiver

Presented in a simple, aesthetic glass bottle, Byredo keeps the design minimalist. Mysterious, giving no hints as to the scent inside.

To enhance the sillage, they created the black saffron hair perfume. For women, a simple flick of the hair becomes hypnotizing. The hair perfume can be a good option for those who like a more discreet sillage. For a better hold spray your hairbrush. They released two sizes for the perfume: 50 ml and 100ml.
