My Thoughts

First of all, Laura Mercier delivered on the packaging side. How pretty are these gift box sets? The holiday collection has many options and makes excellent, accessibly priced gifts for Christmas. I tried out the Ambre Vanille body and bath kit, which is a delight! The products inside are a great size and can be used for a while. All the products share the same sweet fragrance and make a great care kit for the winter season. If you are a lover of vanilla or Sandalwood, then this would make the perfect gift under the Christmas tree! After reading multiple reviews, the brush kit is on my list for a holiday. Can you ever have too many brushes? No. They have a great size making them easy to hold but small enough to fit in the bag.

My Review

When reading about this powder, I wondered how such a light, fine product could offer many actions. I decided to try the powder in the shade “translucent honey”.

I have been skeptical about loose powders for a very long time. Although they give off a natural matte finish, I find them too messy.

The ultra-blur powder gives off a small amount of mist when applying it. Using a brush, the powder glides onto the skin, leaving a smooth and blurred-out skin tone. My pores and fine lines appeared reduced. The powder is ideal for a no makeup/ makeup look.

The medium honey shade matched my skin perfectly, but I recommend trying it out in-store. All in all, this powder gives a beautiful finish and a long-lasting look.

Another new favourite from the brand is Petal Soft Lipstick Crayon, launched recently. It is a perfect hydrating tint for this time of the year.

My Review

I am a massive lover of this type of product. I always wear lipsticks to protect and hydrate my lips, so this rich, fruity formula sounded great. Also, I am wearing the shade. “ 322 Camille” today, and it did not disappoint. This shade is a neutral pink tint, creating the perfect no-make-up makeup lip. Easy to apply, the crayon brings a comfortable, lightweight texture to the lip. The lipstick transfers when drinking or eating, but with such an easy application, you can pop some more on. I Like the clean and minimalist design of the product as it is easy to find in my bag. I recommend this product for beginners or those who want a gentle yet practical look.

For the cheeks, I am using the blushes from RoseGlow Collection and the new tinted moisturizer blush over my tinted moisturizer.

My Review

When it comes to hotter weather, I believe that less is more. Hearing wonders about this new summer collection, I had to try it.

The blusher comes in a beautiful metallic rose casing and opens to a luminous pressed-blush powder. Shimmering away, the blush capture and reflects light effortlessly. Lightweight and super fine, you can not feel it on the skin. Perfect to wear alone or on makeup, I strongly advise moisturizing your skin before to avoid marked zones or patches. I needed very little product to get the rosy glow I wanted. You can use the blusher on the eyes and the cheeks for a rosy, metallic eyeshadow.

I followed the blush with the highlighter to get an extra dewy look. And boy, oh boy, does this work well. My skin looked healthy and not glittery! This is also perfect for placing on your brow line, topper lip, and over lipstick for a shimmering look. The high-quality pearl powders found inside adapted perfectly to my light carnation. My dull, tired skin was a thing of the past.
