The 2023 Suqqu makeup collection comprises ten limited-edition products you will want to take advantage of!

I have selected my two favorite ranges of products from the Suqqu Winter 2023 collection, and here is why:

The Suqqu Tone Touch Eyes in 114 and 115

The Tone Touch eyes is a creamy eyeshadow that can be used in multiple ways. Available in two NEW shades: 114 and 115. The creamy eyeshadows can be applied as a single colour or layered with other colours to create unique shades and looks. Also, highly pigmented, the cream shades glide onto the lids for a long-lasting and no-budge look.

• 114 FUYUAKARI (limited edition) – This Green/ blue color is enriched with polarised pearls. This shade of green/ blue is perfect for adding depth to your looks and works great with brown or pink bases.
• 115 URUWASHICHA (limited edition) – This red/ brown color is also enriched with pearl powders, but this time, it is a fun blend of red and yellow pearls. The tone touch eyes reflect the natural light around you without looking glittery or too much.

The Suqqu Pure Color Blush in 144 and 145

The pure blush collection is an old favorite of mine, but Suqqu has released these two stunning limited edition colors. The blush itself has a satin-smooth texture that has fine-quality grain to it. Buildable and easy to work with, the blusher can be used together for a shimmering effect or separately for a more subtle look.

• 144 HAYAZAKIIRO (limited edition) – This delicate rose/ pink powder blush brings the perfect rosy glow to your cheeks. The highlighter section is rich with rose-gold shimmer pigments, allowing you to achieve a flawless glow.
• 145 BYOUTOU (limited edition) – This warmer Tone of blusher is a natural red/ brown tint. Perfect for medium to dark-skin carnations, it also comes with a dazzling beige-gold highlighter. Also, the highlighters in both blushers give off a sheen that almost appears humid to the eye. 

My Review

This year's winter collection gives elegant and natural-toned colours. I love the texture of the Tone touch eyeshadows and how easy they are to bend out. In addition, they also make an excellent base for powdered eyeshadows, gripping the pigments. As I mentioned, the Pure color blush is one of my go-to blushers. The powder is super fine, and they last a super long time. Overall, I love that Suqqu included the shimmering highlighters and how they can be built from casual to dramatic. The four eyeshadows each have their finish:

• The pearl formula captures light for a metallic shine.
• The clear cream formula offers an excellent hold and adds a fresh touch to the lids.

• Lastly, The pearl shimmer produces a vivid color perfect for adding depth.

My Review

I was excited to discover the new Suqqu The Foundation, one of the finest cream foundations I know. I selected the shade 035, a medium golden undertoned shade for my skin.

Easy to apply, you can use your fingertips or a makeup brush to hide away any signs of redness or uneven skin tone. I recommend this foundation for the cooler season, as its texture is enveloping and comfortable. Although richer than the other Suqqu foundations, it doesn't feel heavy or look plastery in the skin. I got so many compliments when wearing this foundation!

The Autumn/ Winter 2023 Colors

SUQQU, for the Autumn/Winter 2023 Color Collection, has chosen a subtle range of colours, such as powdered pinks and soft beiges, with shimmering silvers and deep rose shades. Throughout the collection, the products have a shimmer, almost metallic finish. Therefore, I have selected my favourite products to present to you.

Suqqu Liquid Luster Eyes

SUQQU Autumn/Winter 2023 Color Collection has high-pigmented eye shadows that pop your eyes. Creamy and easy to blend, creating an ombre look has never been easier. The liquid luster will be available in 7 shades, including two limited editions (silver and gold). In conclusion, I adore shades 04 – a Deep beige, and 05, a powdered pink tint.

How To Use It?

The liquid eye luster can be used in many different ways:

• Apply one shade to all eyelids for a monochrome look, or use multiple shades to create an ombre.
• I enjoyed using them on the inner corner of the eye to bring a touch of light.
• Lastly, Apply a thin line under the bottom lashes with khol for a sexy, night-out look.

Suqqu Pure Color Blush

The well-known range of compact powder blushers is back with two limited edition colours for Autumn/Winter 2023. (142, 143). Fine in texture but rich in pigment, these blushers are the perfect way to add a touch of colour to your face.

The Autumn Shades 142 is a smooth, deep pink shade perfect for matching all color makeup. If you want something to warm up your cheeks, then shade 143 is ideal with its brown./ terracotta appearance, this blusher is the perfect way to heat your skin complexion.

Suqqu Moisture-Rich Lipstick

The iconic moisturizing lipstick is back with a trio of new shades. Famous for its irresistibly comfortable and shiny finish, therefore, this range of lipsticks has been one of my favourites for a long time. My favourite addition is shade number 126, a velvety smooth, light pink. Moreover, this shade is a must for those that love a no-makeup, makeup look.

How To Use It?

You can use this range alone or over other lip products. When placed in the center of the lips, these lipsticks add volume.

My Opinion

The NEW Autumn/Winter 2023 Color Collection from SUQQU already gives me makeup look ideas. The liquid luster look amazingly smooth and easy to use, which will be so much fun. I love the fact that Suqqu has stepped away from the classical burnt orange autumn shades and opted for something a little softer in terms of colors. The eyeshadow palettes also look amazing and combine both matte and shimmer/ metallic shades within them. I have always enjoyed mixing textures and will use the shimmer shades as eyeliners. Also, you can do this by wetting your brush and creating a paste with the eyeshadow pigments. In conclusion, I look forward to wearing this collection!

Let’s take a look at the products:

SUQQU Signature Color Eyes 120, FUYUSOUBI

The collection is made up of the brand’s best-selling products. Styled into limited-edition shades, the eyeshadow palette contains four eye shadows. Mixing warmer and cooler tones can be layered to achieve an intense look. For a more festive finish, add complementary glittering pearls. The palette offers a range of rosy pink with a soft brown and a bluish Bordeaux tint. Thus, perfect for making those green/ greyish eye colours pop.

SUQQU Pure Color Blush

The pure colour blush collection brings a fresh bloom to the cheeks. Also, the blusher offers translucency and definition with a gradient shade of glittery pearled powder. There are two shades to choose from:

• 136, YUKIGOMORI: It is a rosy pink with white-gold glittering pearls.
• 137, TSUYABAE: This chic reddish-brown with natural beige tones adds warmth.

SUQQU Matte Colour Lip Balm

The colour lip balm can be used as a base or standalone lip tint. It leaves a soft matte finish to the lips, ideal for a gentle, elegant look. Enriched with hyaluronic acid, squalene, and jojoba oil: your lips are well protected from the dry winter air. The lip balm was released in one shade:

• 101, KASUMIBARA: A pale rose lightly tints your lip. It is amazingly comfortable as well as smooth. Easy to apply and build up for medium coverage.

My Experience

I see many purple/ reddish tones this festive season in the collections. I love the deep pink eye shadows that Suqqu selected. When applied, the shades offer an immediate high pigmentation and intensity to the eye. I used them as eyeshadows and watered one down with a liner brush. It looks excellent as eyeliner!

The blushes are also of excellent quality and feel extra light on the cheeks. I would have liked an in-between shade, but all the two limited edition colours look stunning. It was my first time trying this range, and I loved its natural glowy finish.

To finish my look, I tried out the colour lip balm. I am a regular user of lip oils, so comfort is not an unknown thing for me. I am happily surprised by the texture and colour they give. My lips gained a slightly pinker tone and a beautiful matte finish. Overall, I recommend this for people who want a natural look. It would make the perfect replacement for a classical lip balm.

Suqqu 2022 Holiday Winter Rose Collection has found the perfect balance between festivity and regular make-up. Why is this important? When buying my holiday make-up, I want to be able to use this product all winter. And that is the case with this collection. Also, I love alternating with the launches from the Autumn Winter Collection.

When I think of Autumn, I can't help but imagine fiery fallen leaves carpeting the ground. In this collection, SUQQU has selected shades that represent the period with perfection: From green mossy tints, the smooth sky-lit pinks, to the dried-up shade of leaves. It's all there! SUQQU created the collection using their most adored products and a couple of limited additions. Are you ready to journey through the Autumn season? Let's start with the collection of Eyeshadows palettes:

Suqqu Signature Color Eyes 09 Kaorikaze

This warm, rich palette comprises Honey Gold & Maple Red shades. Highly pigmented, they offer deep red and glistening gold shades that last for hours. These colours are ideal for blue-coloured eyes! You can use them individually or together to create an easy-to-blend, warm golden look.

Suqqu Signature Color Eyes 117 Akiurei

Following up is the Akiurei palette. This palette is composed of softer, pale shades and gives you an excellent fresh finish. The Holo Brown & Ash Green shades are part of SUQQU's limited edition. To finish an eye make-up, what better than a liner?

To complete their eye collection SUQQU has also designed a unique and limited edition eyeliner for its SUQQU Autumn-Winter collection. In its soft, grey-pink shade, the liner highlights the eye's natural shape and draws attention to the eyes. Use it for a simple line or something a little more creative this Autumn.

Suqqu Melting Powder Blush 10 Okuhibiki

Who says Autumn – Winter says cool temperatures. It's time for your cheeks to get a tinted blushed effect.

If you want a natural flush of colours, look no further. With a deep berry red shade, this powder melts onto your skin, leaving a matte finish. Perfect for a natural-looking cheek, this shade is now a permanent shade of the Melting Powder Blush range. With vibrant colours, these blushes have a fast and straightforward application.

Suqqu Pure Colour Blush 132 Momijigari

This range offers buildable shades that have a soft gradient of colours. With a vivid vermillion-red shade, this blush was inspired by the multiple shades of autumnal leaves.
