Atomic Rose Body Cream

If you know the Atomic Rose perfume (review here), you’ll understand why this body cream feels so addictive. Atomic Rose is all about intensity — a bold, sensual rose with bursts of vanilla and amber that lean both feminine and powerful. The cream captures this same energy but in a softer, more intimate way. It melts into the skin, leaving behind that intoxicating floral warmth while also deeply hydrating. For me, it’s like wearing a cashmere sweater in fragrance form — comforting yet unapologetically alluring.

Musk Therapy Body Cream

On the other hand, Musk Therapy is centred on calmness, balance, and sensuality. The Musk Therapy perfume (review here) is known for its smooth blend of white musk, bergamot, and fruity notes, and the body cream delivers that same cocooning effect. I love how clean yet magnetic it feels — like second skin, only better. Applied after a shower, it leaves my skin velvety soft and delicately scented, the kind of fragrance that makes you lean in closer.

The Texture & Experience

Both creams are rich without being heavy, absorbing quickly and leaving a satin-like finish. They’re not just about scent — they’re skincare, too. Formulated to nourish and hydrate, they make your skin feel as good as it smells. And because they’re less intense than the perfumes, you can layer them under the matching fragrance for a long-lasting, multi-dimensional effect.

My Review

I’ve been using Musk Therapy Body Cream during the day for its soothing, uplifting vibe, and switching to Atomic Rose in the evenings when I want something bolder. The pairing of hydration and fragrance feels indulgent, almost like a ritual. These aren’t your average scented lotions — they’re luxury in a jar, extending the magic of Initio’s perfumes into daily life.

Final thoughts: If you love Atomic Rose or Musk Therapy, the body creams are an absolute must. They don’t just complement the fragrances — they elevate them, making the experience more immersive and personal.

Another perfume I recently reviewed here and have been loving a lot is Power Self. It is s beautiful blend of floral, woody, and musky notes with a contemporary, feel-good twist.

The Inspiration

The entire Delina collection was inspired by strong characters from the times of LouisXV. Parfums de Marly created Delina to celebrate women and their transition from tradition to “freedom”.

Using the hand-picked, majestic Damanesca Rose from Turkey. He sculpted the different faces of the rose to create a fresh and floral perfume.

The Delina Collection

Made up of three iconic fragrances, Parfums de Marly offers different takes on the original Rose note. So which one suits you best?

• Delina: Elegance in a bottle. The addictive notes of Rose and Litchi mix to create a fresh, fruity perfume.
• Delina la rosée: The fresh morning dew. A fresh aquatic perfume that refreshes the senses. The little rose and water flowers offer a fresher version of Delina.
• Delina Exclusif: sophistication at its best. The classic rose takes a more Ambered scent with a more mysterious character. Wrapped with notes of incense, this perfume has a more intense fragrance.

Delina Exclusif

I selected Delina Exclusif as I love the sweeter, warmer approach. Dressed in a more vibrant pink bottle than the other fragrances, Delina Exclusif keeps her mysterious scent hidden until the last. With a higher concentration (Parfum), this perfume has a stronger presence throughout the day.

The Notes

• Head notes: The perfume is a fresh surprise. Starting on a fruity note with pear, litchi and grapefruit. Although I love this note in the perfume, it tends to fade after 1 hour.
• Heart notes: Once the head notes have settled, you can fully admire the heart of Delina. With its beautifully balanced powdery sweetness, the Rosa Damascena lifts the perfume. Accompanied by a darker side of rich incense and vetiver.
• Base notes: Last, we come to my favourite fragrance part. This is where the warm and comforting notes are revealed. Present from the moment you spray the perfume, the vanilla, music and every form of a second skin. Music can have a very close scent to human skin, which makes it ideal for a longer-lasting perfume.

My Review

With a high price range per bottle, I understand that Delina Exclusif can ring the alarms. But it's completely worth it! Why?

1. Longevity: Parfum is one of the highest concentrations a fragrance can have. This means your perfume lasts longer and generally gives off a wake as you walk around. I wear perfume of my liking but love to get compliments about it.
2. Contrast: This perfume is all about contrast. Fresh and warm, Floral and earthy, elegant and fierce.
3. Originality: The perfume markets are saturated with Rose based perfumes. So why buy this one, right? The brand has mastered taking classic notes and revealing a different face.
4. Body range available.
5. Smells fantastic: Perfume is a personal choice, and no two people will live the perfume the same way. Scents have a funny way of bringing back memories, and this one hit all the right spots for me.

The Scent

First of all, what does the perfume smell of? Amouage created an elegant Floral Amber fragrance to represent the mystery of the rosebud.

Built around the majestic flower, the fragrance takes you on a journey through a woody, modern note. While looking through the many ingredients that compose this perfume, you will come across some of the rarest and not-so-known star notes that are bound to leave you wanting more.

Top Notes: Elemi, Olibanum (Frankincense) Hyper Absolute, Black Ink Accord.

I know this sounds like a catastrophe, but this trio is marvellous. Amouage selected three uncommon and harmonious notes to kickstart the perfume with power. The fresh scent of Elemi, the smoky scent of frankincense and the sharp note of black ink.

Heart Notes: Damascena Rose Water Essential, Suederal, Frankincense Absolute.

Amouage added sweet rose water and a powdery federal note to follow up. Bringing class and roundness to the perfume.

Base Notes: Myrrh, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Cedarwood.

Last of all, the warm, woody notes of vanilla and sandalwood. Mixed, they create a recomforting scent. These are also the notes that will last in the fragrance.

The Library Collection

Amouage knows how hard it can be to choose a single perfume. And for that reason, the brand created multiple travel/ miniature formats collections. OPUS XII ROSE INCENSE os sound in the recent library collection. Both men and women can discover and play along with three other scents.

My Experience

Amouage fragrances are generally a big or miss as unique as they come. Made for those who want a stand-out, unique scent that not everyone can wear. Having quite a few Amouage fragrances myself, I was curious to discover yet another perfume from the brand.

The Opus XII rose incense perfume was a pleasant discovery. The rich floral notes are wrapped with a mysteriously addictive smoky note. Lasting all day on the skin, this scent is perfect for those wanting to be noticed. What I love about the perfume is that the rose becomes a not-so-innocent fragrance. As a lover of vanilla, I was pleased to see it included in the formula.

I recommend this perfume to men and women who enjoy a stronger character perfume. It is 100% giving off niche perfume vibes and could be the next Amouage fragrance I purchase.

The matte greyish bottle is capped with a minimalistic black lid. Golden details highlight the name and bottle to give it a more impactful look. Although this is an investment, I think this kind of originality deserves it.

Using the Queen of flowers Dominique Ropion created a bold, gender-less perfume. With vibrant and elegant notes the fragrance has intense Middle Eastern origins. When purchasing the rose oil Isparta EDP, you will receive an Eau de Parfum 50ml & 9ml Préparation Oil. With a unique approach to the perfume experience, this perfume offers a spicy, jammy rose scent. Packed with petals from four different varieties of Rose you are sure to spike the curiosity of the surrounding people.

The Notes

Ostens Rose Oil Isparta fragrance starts with a spicy kick. Bold & impacting.

Top Notes

Rosemary Tunisian Oil LMR, Coriander Seed LMR, Cardamon Ceylon LMR, Pink Pepper CO2 LMR

To keep the fragrance balanced, Ostens then added some sweet & fruity notes.

Heart Notes

Blackcurrant Bud Absolute LMR, Orange Flower Absolute LMR, Rose Essential LMR, Rose Isparta Oil LMR

Adding a powerful, elegant character to this perfume is the Patchouli oil.

Base Notes

Patchouli Oil LMR, Labdanum Resinoid LMR, Cashmeran

Preparation rose oil Isparta 9ml

The fragrance is completed by the rose oil preparation. Created around the Damascena rose from Turkey. The oil stands out from the ‘traditional' rose scent, with a red berry and sweet lychee touch to its notes.

How to use it?

Apply two or three drops of the oil across clean skin using the wand received with your perfume. Apply a little to your wrists, neck and behind your ears. Next, spray the Impression Eau de Parfum over the oil.

My Experience

The whole experience of trying this fragrance was delightful! I sampled both products alone and together, and I have to say this perfume is exceptional. If you are a lover of the Rose, I invite you to discover this fragrance. Unlike the usual powdery, sometimes old-fashioned rose. Osten created a vibrant, modern version. With its long-lasting scent, you are sure to conquer hearts. A beautiful perfume for both men and women. With its spicy notes revealing themselves.

Royalty in a Bottle

We all know that the rose is the queen of flowers. And Chantecaille captured its amazing beauty. Creating a fragrance so addictive, that you can't stop smelling it. Darby is elegant, pure and has a whole lot of flowers.

The Story

Behind every grande perfume, there is a story.
Darby Rose was inspired by the roses found in Chantecaille's garden. Every time she would pass the scent of the roses she was compelled to stay and enjoy it a little more. So, she decided to capture and bottle the exact scent made in her garden.

The Scent

Alongside the roses, they decided to add multiple flowers and woody scents. All of the notes combined to keep the perfume balanced and intense. Let's take a closer look:

Top notes are “Jeweled Raspberry, Italian Lemon, and Burgundy Cassis”

A headnote is the first scent we get, here we have a fruity fresh cocktail to start. Thus, it will add a fresh, sweet scent to the perfume.

Heart notes are “Bulgarian Rose, Pink Magnolia, and Sweet Osmanthus”

Followed by the heart, here are our floral notes. These add a powdered touch and a long-lasting scent.

Lastly, the base notes are “Indonesian Sandalwood, Ambrette Seeds, and White Patchouli”

And to finish a woody under note. This links all the notes together and brings warmth to the perfume. Also, Patchouli adds a slightly chocolaty smell to it.

The Bottle

Chantecaille Darby Rose is bottled in a sophisticated and very minimalist bottle. Decorated with a shiny glass diamond top and a beautiful floral glass print. It is a 75ml bottle, which is a great size compared to the usual 50ml. We can tell that Chantecaille intends to wear it every day.

Tips

To prolong the scent during the day you can add a few drops to your body lotion. Make sure you use a neutral or a similar scent. You can also spray your hair comb with some perfume and brush your hair afterwards.

Rose of No Man’s Land

Keeping in mind the benevolence and compassion of the nurses during World War I, they were called Rose of No Man’s Land by the soldiers. This is where the scent gets its name from and it is a tribute to the nurses who saved a number of lives. It was launched in 2015.

Characteristics:

• The perfume is a unisexual product, which is suitable for both men and women.
• It is a floral scent making it suitable for any kind of weather. It brings a certain freshness after application.
• Also, it is a 79.7% natural perfume which implies that it is not harmful to the body.
• The intensity of the perfume is rather delicate so it can be used as a daily-wear perfume.

Key Notes

The notes of the perfume are mostly floral.

• Top notes: Turkish Rose petals and Pink Pepper.
• Heart notes: Turkish rose Absolute and Raspberry Blossom.
• Lastly, Base notes are Papyrus and White Amber.

My Experience

Since all the notes in the perfume are floral, it has a fresh yet a little spicy sort of scent. There is a little hint of woody smell as well. If you do not like the fragrance of rose, then this might not be suitable for you as the scent of rose is dominant in the perfume. It is not very strong so I use it as an everyday perfume. It does not fade away easily but the scents change with time. Also, it smells peppery immediately after application but fades away to a subtle rose scent. At the end of the day, it's a mixture of floral and woody scents but overall, it's a great perfume.

Eleventh Hour is another creation from the brand that I like wearing depending on my mood and season.
